It should have been explained that the high tea is not in the living room where they usually do it. The high tea is only worth it with the ambiance and unfortunately although the food was good the ambiance wasn’t quite there

The Belvedere at the Peninsula never disappoints. I have been going there for many years. The restaurant is always improving, service immaculate. It never stays the same but keeps its tradition. Great place to go for quiet, breakfast, lunch or dinner or for an outing with family or a business lunch. I love it so much I’m planning a Thanksgiving party in the private dining room at the Belvedere. For what they deliver I think it’s the best value in the city.

Been a regular at this establishment for many years and have always enjoyed it. However, this time the food is not up to my regular standards, there are still shells in the Caribbean lobster and duck breast is cut too thick, but the scallops, risotto, and dover sole are good and like the sauces which balance out in most dishes. Service is still very tentative and friendly.

All entrees were great, except for the Ratatoullie which came with raw eggs. Gross. Please take off the menu, we had to order a different entrée as it was not edible. Otherwise all is well if you have the funds to have an over budget meal.

The restaurant is really gorgeous. The waiting staff was amazing definitely knew about the food. The food was absolutely delicious and plated really nicely. Every thing we ordered was a home run. I feel like this place checks all the boxes. Come here if you want to create a great memory.

The French new executive chef at the Belvedere is truly a master at creating amazing dishes from common ingredients. Wine list is noteworthy, and the service is measured and non intrusive. Ambiance is simultaneously elegant and relaxing. It is perhaps the best overall restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Don’t miss the amazing collaboration of the Peninsula afternoon tea with CaviarKaspia. The caviar dishes were excellent as were the scones and the desserts. The iced tea had ice cubes with flowers. The whole experience was heavenly and delicious! It was visually beautiful as well. Wonderful service!

My three girl friends and I really enjoyed the caviar especially the lobster salad and cornmeal pudding! The scones should be reworked as they are not to the level of others that I have had here in the states and in Britain. Very dense; almost 2nd day baked. The thing that really annoyed and disgusted us was the flies. As the meal progressed, more kept coming. No host nor service person could/would see our excess of napkin waving and exclamations of disgust.

I always like Belvedere for dinner. First time booked the Caviar afternoon tea. We were seated in a very small table which was for two. With two 3 tier dessert trays… the table is already full. The space between table to table is very narrow. Both of us don’t like the set up. It’s too crowded, definitely not a luxury experience. The food isn’t good enough, compare with The Living Room. It is not worth of what I paid for.

I’ve been to The Belvedere a few times for different occasions. My last dining experience was so disappointing that I won’t be going back nor will I be recommending this restaurant. I had recommended The Belvedere as a the restaurant to commemorate my friend’s mother’s milestone birthday and 5 of us gathered to celebrate. The dishes were not up to par in comparison to other restaurants, and our dishes were unfortunately mediocre. My seafood was overcooked leaving it dry despite the sauce. When it came time to cutting the cake we brought (due to dietary restrictions) we were told that we would be charged TWELVE DOLLARS PER SLICE. In ALL of my dining experience, never have I been charged a penny to have a birthday cake sliced. Is The Belvedere so desperate in their profit margin to nickel and dime their guests? I wouldn’t be surprised if they charged us for the tap water they served. Such a petty charge but enough to lose my business. My guests were so shocked and disappointed and I was embarrassed for making the recommendation. The whole experience left such a bad taste in my mouth. I will never dine here again nor will I be recommending The Belvedere. In fact, I recommend against this establishment.

Absolutely spectacular ! We have been staying at the Peninsula Hotel and dining at the Belvedere restaurant (in it's different expressions and forms) for over more than 20 years. This current expression, under culinary artistry of the new Michelin starred chef, is in my view THE BEST it has ever been. The staff was so engaging, friendly and professional. The flavors were to be savored and sublime. Only the name of the restaurant stayed the same, as an expression of love from the owner to his now deceased mother. In her memory his has gifted Los Angeles with a place for truly elegant fine dining. Don't miss the reasonably priced bite of some of the finest caviar in the world or the still evolving dessert menu. From start to finish, 5 stars ! A+++

Food was mostly bland and seemed just adequate moreso. Brunch steak was under seasoned and tough, and fries were very dry for some reason. Had very high expectations that were not met at all. The ambiance and service were great, and despite the glitz, it was not pretentious at all.

My server was excellent. The fruit salad I had during a work meeting left me wanting more the next day, so I returned. My server was kind enough to share the recipe with me and bring out the type of yogurt used. That special attention was much appreciated.

I absolutely LOVE The Peninsula Hotel! We dined outside in patio for my friends birthday dinner and the ambiance was great! The hostess was polite and sweet and our server, Sergio, was personable, kind and very knowledgeable on the menu! The entire team was beyond attentive! Can’t wait to go back! Over-priced food. Avocado toast was awful. My toast was burnt- charred on one side. Avocado tasted old and gooey. Extremely expensive for bad food and mediocre service. Only nice thing were the veggie juices and setting.
