Le Colonial is a celebration of seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s. With locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Delray Beach, Lake Forest, and Naples, the famed Vietnamese restaurant is designed to capture a bygone era of sophistication and opulence. Celebrated restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Joe King deliver exquisite attention to detail in the luxurious, classic, and romantic atmosphere of the River Oaks District. For special occasions, our private dining space provides a bespoke setting for unforgettable celebrations.

Business Casual
No athletic wear or athletic attire, including designer athletic line of any kind and model, beach flip flops or any beach attire, tank tops (men), cut-offs, sweatpants, exposed undergarments, and excessively revealing clothing for indoor and outdoor dining. No baseball caps indoors. Seasonal changes may apply.

Gratuity will be added to parties of 6 or more. We only allow a maximum of 4 for splitting checks.

    Truly exceeded expectations. Hadn’t been to Le Colonial in a while, so for my BFF’s bday, I knew it would be a great place for a girls night. The food was absolutely delicious, and the servings were great for the price. My BFF had an amazing birthday and we’re even planning on coming back soon to enjoy the live music upstairs!

    Food is creative with each dish intricately prepared. The taste is delicious and also beautiful. It would take hours to prepare each dish at home. The menu could he intimidating to newcomers to understand how delicious the dishes are once you try them. But the servers are super helpful in suggesting quantities and dishes that would appeal to each guest. The wine and drink menu is spectacular. Lots of fun creative cocktails. Finally, my favorite server Heather, is one of my favorite in the entire city for a great fining experience. She anticipates needs like refills, next drinks, extras when the food arrives. You don't have to wait on checks. Suggest ordering coffee to go verses going to Starbucks. I always want to sit in her section.

    There was a remarkable loud table of celebrants making A LOT of noise, so it was really a distraction for conversation. But the food was excellent, good service and generally a good time.

    The food and drinks at Le Colonial are very good and fairly priced for the quality, ambiance, and service that you receive. The decor is beautiful and truly reminiscent of a bygone era. The restaurant is also consistent in the quality and delivery of the food and drinks it offers. I never have any major complaints about this restaurant, and I will definitely return.

    The price of the food is ridiculous. Good but very overpriced even in the River Oaks District.
