We love Lucky Cat. Delicious food, attentive service and a place where you can just relax and enjoy. The happy hour menu, which changes from time to time, is a great value. Our favorite dish is the Chinese spare ribs. To.Die.For!

We happened to stop in during Lucky Cat's happy hour, so we got to try a lot of different menu items for a very reasonable price. There were four of us and we ate family style, so we sampled across almost all of the appetizers and a few other dishes as well. Plenty of food, lots of great flavors. Only one dish -- the Dan Dan noodles -- was too spicy for our picky eater. Fun cocktail menu as well.

The food was good, but not special. They have cuisine that is different, and thus it is fun to try, but they miss a bit with some of the dishes. The good: - The fried Brussels sprouts were very good. Everyone enjoyed them. - The spring onion pancakes were O.K. (and not cheap) - The Dan Dan noodles were very tasty, although I felt the meat was not ground fine enough and was a bit "chewy" - A couple of folks had the Gong Show cocktail and really like it The misses: - The pot stickers had very tasty meet inside (better than random Chinese resteraunt fare), but the skins were a tad dry. - The mix of veggies in the egg rolls was too "chewy" - an odd mix for an egg roll - Angry roll sushi fish was not as fresh as one would like - They were out of the Hong Kong Crispy Tofu (a dish I specifically wanted to try so the ultimate miss)

This is a wonderful new addition to the metro dining scene. The food was fantastic, and it is a wonderful place to sample and share many options. It is difficult not to order everything, because it was all terrific. The open kitchen is a treat, and food came out as it was prepared - fresh and hot. Service is impeccable and overall, Lucky Cat is highly recommended.

Lucky Cat is another cool Troy Guard restaurant. The space is small, yet open, food was extremely fresh and the service was outstanding, especially our waiter Jordan. But overall, I feel like this was probably my least favorite experience at a TAG restaurant. TAG, TAG Burger, Los Chingones, and Guard and Grace must have just set my expectations very high. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood, but not sure I would go out of my way for another visit.

We had eaten here right after it opened, and thought the food was good but not outstanding. Our visit this time was more about convenience; we were in the neighborhood and didn't want to wait in line at North County (which is just steps away). Boy, were we happy we gave it another try! The chef himself greeted us at the door and guided us through the menu, which had changed a bit since our first visit. Everything was terrific, but especially the Chinese ribs. The server gave excellent service (I think he was doing double-duty as the bartender) and the entire night, I guess, can be best described as a very pleasant surprise. We'll be back!

this re-do of Troy Guard's Hanger 2 restaurant in Lowry is a big improvement on they first version. The Asian street food menu is almost all very delicious. The best chicken wings I've ever had and the fish bar bun also amazing - the bun is the most cloud-like food I've eaten! . Happy Hour is a great deal with many food and drink options. The manager, Brett?, is very friendly and dedicated to making this a wonderful local spot, as are the servers. If you were unimpressed by the first incarnation of this restaurant, definitely give this one a second try!

Great name, brand and concept. Convenient location outside Hanger 2 in Lowry with pleasing patio environment. Attentive and polite service, no pressure. It requires a little extra effort to include a glass with a bottle of beer but it's a very classy move to include it without the inquiry. Tip of the hat, see you again soon!

I would not suggest going to Lucky Cat. I made reservations and when I showed up on time they had not reserved a table. They said we could sit at the bar or wait and didn't seem to really care about the inconvenience to us. We sat at the bar next to the food, smelled like something was rotting and their were flys everywhere. Food was slow to come out and over priced. Very poor experience and would suggest not visiting.

We made a reservation for our daughter's 13th birthday. She wanted to go to Bubu, but since the change to Lucky Cat in the same location, we thought we'd give it a try. I called ahead to confirm our reservation and to notify them of my daughter's shellfish allergies. We were assured that the Lucky Cat staff were just as knowledgeable about the menu and would be able to help us find dishes that were safe for our daughter. Although the waiter acknowledged the food allergy, he often told us he wouldn't risk even using the soy sauce. I think the chef and owner would be unhappy with this approach. Unbeknownst to us, the chef sent over a complimentary appetizer, with alterations made special for our daughter based on her allergies ( brussel sprouts which were excellent, originally on the Bubu menu), delivered by a second waiter with no explanation. Again, our waiter said, I wouldn't risk eating it. He was unaware it was from the chef on the house as well. It is common practice in restaurants we frequent for the waiters to announce and reconfirm that dishes for my daughter were made with her allergies in mind, no matter if the waiters are assigned to our table or not. My daughter didn't enjoy herself as she didn't feel safe. The chef selections we ordered were dripping in sauces and overly flavored with soy sauce or something. I order the beef broccoli. All way too salty and syrupy. the sashimi and sushi were subpar as well, a bit mushy. We won't go back for entrees or sushi. We might go back for an appetizer, pork bun and a drink, all things that were great about Bubu. Lucky Cat version of the menu, not so great. Wait staff not educated enough, nor willing to make the dinner special for a birthday celebration.

Tried out Lucky Cat for a moms night out. Our server was poor at best, the appetizers and drinks were well received by the table, but our sushi rolls and chef specials were in the category with our server. They ran out of the ingredients for the cocktail we were drinking after one round, and had no dessert options.

Troy Guard's interesting take on Chinese food was as expected, tasty. As usual, it was also a little different. Plenty of good vegetable dishes, like Shoshoni peppers, Brussels sprouts, eggplant and pickled vegetables, on the menu as well as a fairly traditional shrimp dish and one of the best beef with broccoli versions I have ever had. At the end of our meal, the chef came out to discuss the dishes and their preparation with us, which was a nice treat. Our Asian native expert on Chinese cuisine was pleased too, which is high praise from someone who abhors Chinese fusion (which this is not). Thumbs up for Top Cat.

The food was very disappointing. Not very many gluten free options, which is not typical for a Troy Guard restaurant. The sushi was average and way overpriced. The people I was with had the spring onion pancakes, and they were by far the most delicious thing to grace our table all evening. The wine pours are EXTREMELY small--don't even bother. The decor is funky and fun, but that's about all this place has going for it at the moment.

The food, drinks, and service were very good, if not excellent, however there were very few entree selections. I don't envision dining there regularly even though it is right in my neighborhood because there is not enough variety to choose from. The staff was very attentive and brought us delicious app and drink tastings that were delicious! Also a little expensive for the type of food.

Not a good experience or food. Happy hour prices are great so awfully glad I didn't pay full price. Ordered a beer which was delivered warm ... not even a hint of cold and was informed they had just tapped the keg ... they may want to consider icing them. Wrap on dumplings was inedible although the filling was good. The duck appetizer has delicious duck, but was oversauced and you couldn't even bite through the pancake until it had soaked in the sauce for about 15 minutes. Sesame chicken was bland. Bao bun was inedible due to over spice. Two stars is generous. Will not even give it a second chance.

We decided to drop by since this is a new place in the neighborhood. It felt like a LoDo hipster place. We were pleasantly surprised by the by the great menu choices and prices. The restaurant is small, and the staff is friendly. The food was very good. The only complaint was the music was too loud. When I mentioned this to the waiter, it seemed to get softer. I would recommend trying this place out if you want an Asian flavor with a slight twist.

We loved both kinds of Bao Buns and the pickled vegetables. Music is loud. Service was excellent. They will open for lunch in two weeks.
