   849 has become a regular favorite. The patio is great for outdoor dining and the food has been consistently great. I hosted an employee gathering last night and it was a success. The only area that was lacking was our service. The restaurant was almost empty so there didn't appear to be a reason for such indifferent and slow service. I'm going to assume it was just an off night for the server and the restaurant and leave it at that. I definitely plan to return.

   This restaurant is owned by same owner as Willie’s and we are NEVER disappointed…the quality of the food, the excellent service, the generous “pours”….all contribute to a delightful experience. Our friend are arriving in 2 weeks from out of town and can’t wait to take them here!

   We had a wonderful brunch on Mother's Day. Simply the nicest staff, everyone we came into contact with cared about our experience from host to bussers. Food was delicious!!! I had the most divine quiche I have EVER eaten - pastry that melted in your mouth. Other dishes we absolutely polished off included a juicy burger, a tasty salad and a delectable strawberry dessert. This was our first time at Eight4Nine and we will be back! Highly recommend!

   Chilean Seabass was really good. Not like the frozen stuff they carry at Whole Foods. Pretty restaurant. Made for a very nice birthday celebration for my other half.

   We enjoyed our dinner very much, it was delicious. We especially loved the Allen Brothers Beef Filet Mignon, which was out of this world and the Coachella Lime Pie was scrumptious. Ambience was terrific with excellent decor. Very hip and refreshing. Our server was outstanding, as was all of the staff. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Palm Springs. Keep up the great work!

   This was my first time at this restaurant and my husband and I enjoyed our experience. I had requested an outside table but it was a cool evening so we were accommodated inside. The restaurant decor is very attractive and comfortable. The food was excellent; I had the salmon and my husband had the sea bass, both were perfectly cooked. We also started with the Tuna appetizer which was delicious. I was impressed that bread was offered without charge ( as many restaurants now do) and the bread was made in-house and was delicious. The drinks and wine list were comprehensive. The only negative was the noise level from a table of young ladies.

    We came on a Monday evening and it was not crowded at all. They gave us a table deep into the restaurant, although I would have preferred to be by the window. I would have preferred they asked our preference. It was overall atmosphere and nice decor. The service was very nice and attentive. The dishes were small. I order Chilean Bass and my husband clam chowder, both small. My husband enjoyed his drink.
