This was an underwhelming experience. We ordered 6-7 dishes. One was delicious (the spicy garlic shrimp) and the wagyu steak was good. The ambience is very unimpressive for a special occasion restaurant. Our expectations were undoubtedly high because of Nobu's reputation and this may have been an "off" night

We had our date night there last night. Our server Jacob was very friendly, had amazing recommendations, and provided overall superb customer service. The restaurant was beautiful, clean (bathrooms were very clean as well-big one for me), had valet parking, friendly staff, and the food was excellent!!! Do the experiences they offer to try most food items they have. We felt an explosion of flavors with every bite! So good!!! Thanks for an amazing date night NoBu LA team!!! And big thanks to Jacob for making our dinner experience exceptional with his skills and commitment to customer service. 🙌
