Nice looking restaurant with a lot of natural light. It has a good vibe and the service was excellent. Food was great and we tried a variety of appetizers, salads, and entrees. The chocolate martini for desert topped off an excellent meal.

Food was ok - appetizer wasn’t very hot. GF bread was tasty. Good wine prices. Staff were very nice. Seemed like most diners are usuals. Lots of great steak places and not sure if it would be a repeat.

This is my second evening, dining with my family at king steak, and upon entry I am treated like family. The staff remembered me my family and our last visit over a month ago. Recalling even the table we sat at. This was my birthday dinner and King Steak stepped up and made it the most memorable dinner I have had. I recommend any one that needs a 1st class night out to stop by and have a steak. But don’t leave until you have the whiskey cake . Thank you team for a great experience.

Eric, the m’aitre d was superb. Hector, our waiter was great…knowledgeable and helpful. The cocktails were tasty and sufficient and came quickly. We both had the short ribs and, even though they were a large portion, we were left wanting more. This was our second visit this trip because we liked it so much.

Loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. We had an issue with an entree and they took care of it immediately without issue. Was surprised that there were limited steak entrees presented for a restaurant called King Steak.

The waiters were personable. The food was fantastic. Even with a ton of appetizers and a few drinks, the price was very reasonable. I was there to celebrate someone's birthday and they had personalized the menu's to say "Happy Birthday". I was impressed. I can't wait to go back. Especially to have that ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

The short rib was very tender and flavorful however the vegetables ordered as a side were overcooked (broccoli) and mushy. There was a good vibe for a restaurant that was opened only a month. Good crowd, mostly well dressed business people and the like. However, the wait staff seemed to be overwhelmed and got my order mixed up with my friend's. Not a biggie but something that needs to be corrected in the future. We'll give it another try on my next trip to Houston. PS: Johnny, the owner and host, is a great, very personable guy...we knew him from Mo's in Montrose.
