Have been to Nobu several times and tried out the new Nobu at Grand Wailea for the first time. Setting was fantastic but value probably made it not worth it. Timing of food was completely off, definitely not what I’d expect for a Nobu. So disappointed we skipped dessert and went off site for sweet treat instead.

The location is amazing. Our waitress was very friendly. But everything else was just not so good. We've been to other Nobu locations, so this was very disappointing. Everything we ordered except for the yellowtail jalapeno was disappointing. The miso butterfish just tasted a little off, and the shrimp and lobster spicy lemon sauce was very salty. Sushi was just ok too. However, what bothered me throughout our entire dining experience was the busser. We were eating edamame while waiting for our appetizers. We hadn't even finished eating the edamame, but the busser came over to our table to ask if we were done with it. Then the same busser came back and asked us every time we had a new half-eaten dish if we were done. It was, honestly, really annoying because we had more than half the food still on all the plates. Also my lychee martini came out not chilled. I thought that was odd.

Went with my kid and it took 45 minutes just to get our drinks. Over an hour to get the 1st of our food. Food was good, but the wait was unbelievably long! Beautiful view and staff was very nice! Seems they are very under staffed!

Service was exceptional. Food was very good but when you consider the price (Maui + Nobu pricing is a double whammy), it should have been exceptional. But still a treat if price is no issue.

From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Every dish was perfectly prepared and the service was friendly and knowledgeable.
