This ain’t your auntie’s curry.
Electric Gravy is an Indian bar and canteen on East 11th serving bold, comforting dishes with generous portions and a little chaos (the good kind). We’re not trying to replicate tradition—we’re reimagining it with big flavor, warm hospitality, and cocktails with attitude.

Expect vibrant colors, spice in the air, music in the room, and housemade gravies that stick with you.
We take reservations—but we set aside half our dining room for WALK INS because we’re a neighborhood spot at heart, so walk-ins ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.

We had a great time here! The vibe is bar food but Indian style. We liked the tikka masala and the chutneys were awesome. The wine was also well priced.

An amazing experience with nearly perfect flavors & inventive drinks. Reasonable prices!!! To start, easy street parking on a busy Friday night. Entering the place you know it's Indian but different. The vibe is casual but cute enough to impress. A place where you could wear flip flops on a first date. The food was not traditional Indian but an improvement IMO. Some of the flavors I've never encountered & I eat traditional Indian. The menu was a cool with each piece being a redesigned dish. The drinks were so inventive! My only complaint is they don't have a flight to try all the great drinks. My wife tried.. 3 different drinks & half of mine & was "tipsy". She loved them all. I will make this the to of my list of restaurant to impress people on my foodie cred. Literally the flavors rival places like Sway & Suerte.

Was looking to spend good money on drinks, fill my craving for authentic Indian food, and start my Saturday night off strong. Expectations were high and I went into the doors of Gravy in a positive mood that was unfortunately immediately derailed. The staff seemed incredibly annoyed that we booked an outside table and — in their eyes — our group was reincarnated into two homeless drifters begging for a morsel of sustenance. We were mostly ignored the entire night, received the deep fryer scraps they named Pakora, a dry Karahi Chicken and Vindaloo Pork that was all heat no taste. The naan and rice even left much to be desired and drinks took an hour to make. I hope to one day achieve Moksha so my spirit can never be so disappointed and broken this badly ever again.
