   Very modern throughout, including the well done bathrooms. Food was good and service was very good. Would recommend this for anyone that wants a Chinese meal in a good ambiance.

   30 minute wait even with reservation ! Absolutely terrible service. Waited ten minutes to even be asked what we want to drink. Appetizers came out cold . Wings were undercooked and asked to have them recooked to crispy at least and they never came back. Our drinks were never refilled and as we finished the food we were sucking on ice. As we waited to ask for the check when we called for the waitress she yelled at us “ YOUR WINGS ARE ALMOST DONE !” didn’t even give us a chance to speak. I was appalled had to ask the host to get us a box and were given attitude for asking to cancel the wings after we had already finished eating. Do NOT trust the reviews this place is terrible… except the walnut shrimp . I would order that to go in uber eats.

   One of the best chinese food restaurants in san diego. Food is delicious and authentic. Large menu.

   I recently visited this place for the second time, and I have to say, the food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was just as great as I remembered—really attentive and friendly staff. It's rare to find a spot that delivers on both food and service like this. I can't wait to come back again and try more from the menu! Highly recommend it!

   We had a nice Mother's Day dinner at Chin's. They were quite busy however the service and food quality made up for the wait time.

   I am a longtime Chins customer and have frequented the Delmar and La Jolla locations. It is usually delicious and piping hot and the dishes are picture worthy with flavor and texture to go with it. Unfortunately, this experience in Point Loma was pretty terrible. Our food was lukewarm and nothing seemed fresh. The tangerine chicken was dry/overcooked and the vegetables in other dishes were soggy. I was super disappointed with the service since our server was rude and seem to hurry us while taking our order.

   We have been waiting for Chin's to open for a while, and as usual from the other locations, it did not disappoint. We are happy to welcome Chin's to Point Loma and will be here often. The food and service are second to none. Highly recommended.

    Chin’s just opened at this location, San Diego. It’s not unusual to have some kinks to iron out during a new opening. Although we had a reservation, it took 20 minutes to get seated. I felt bad because the unorganized front desk caused people to leave because there was a long period of time before someone walked up to the front desk to help. They stood there for awhile and then left. Although after we were seated, service was a little slow, but they apologized for the wait. Again, kinks to iron out. However, the food was excellent. I thought a little pricey, but excellent. Give them time. We will definitely be back because the food was delicious.
