First time at II Girasole and it did not disappoint. I love that it’s located away from the SoCo traffic. The food was fantastic! My date and I cleaned the up our plates. We also ordered a specific wine glass, but our server recommended a different wine based on what we said we liked. She was right, we ordered a bottle of her recommendation after we tasted it. The overall prices were great, and we will definitely be back.

It was our first time and won’t be the last :) Everything that we ordered was delicious and very presentable. Ambiance was very pleasant and our waiter Fabrizio was very attentive and informative. We left happy.

We chose Il Girasole to celebrate my sister’s birthday and it was sadly, a fail. There was confusion with our reservation where they assumed I was another patron without asking me. We ordered the lasagna and it tasted like someone forgot the seasoning throughout the whole dish. Each bite tasted like boiled, unsalted pasta, with unsalted ricotta or cream. We told the server and she just oddly said I’m sorry and asked if she should take it away. No offer for another dish or even pretending like she’ll check with the staff to see what happened. My sister’s birthday was not acknowledged. When we tried to leave, our check holder was dropped off at our table without any receipts in it. Our server never came back, so I had to get up to ask her for our check. At least the decor was pretty inside and the cocktails were good. I still feel upset about the experience and hope others have a much better one than we did

Tried for the first time today- just make a reservation!- you won’t regret it! Specialty cocktail menu was great! Too many I wanted to try- we got the first 2 old fashions on the list= delicious! Had the halibut, filet, and risotto for dinner. All were EXCEPTIONAL! The food was delicious, ambience was modern and not loud, service was off the charts!! Michael was our server and was super attentive and professional! The presentation, food, and culinary artistry is something you will appreciate as much as we did. We will back with friends for sure! You can dress up, or down- your choice and you’ll fit right in!

We all loved the food presentation and service ! What a great find . They have such unique dishes and very tasty . They suggested a great bottle of wine and their popular appetizer and dishes we all were so pleased . Enjoy this great vibe resturant!

All four people in our party agreed this was one of the best brunches lunches we’ve had together in a very long time! Our hosts, Antonio, Julian, and Irene served us the most fabulous birthday luncheon and we were there for many hours! I can’t say enough about this restaurant it’s superior atmosphere, food, staff, chef, owner With a vision and if you haven’t been here yet you definitely need to make a reservation and get in they’re open all the time love love love this place
