Claude Bosi’s Oyster Bar stands proudly in the ground floor space of Michelin House, furnished with unique mosaic flooring, and fascinating wall tiles steeped in history.

Shellfish and seafood is the main highlight of the menu, but there are many other dishes to choose from too.
Sharing platters, family-style feasts and relaxed dining options are what we do best.

We have space to dine inside and outside. Our outside tables are situated both ‘streetside’ at the front of the building, and also within our semi-open patio. All tables are on a first-come-first-served basis only.

Children of all ages are welcome. Please let us know if you need a highchair and/or space at the table for a pram.

We went on a Monday lunchtime and the restaurant was not busy. We had to catch our waiter's attention to take our drinks and then food orders. The waiter did not know what a white wine spritzer was. He came back and checked our drinks order again even though he had written them down. Two drinks came full of ice which was not requested and we asked for them to be changed. The food was good (burgers and fish & chips) but the Nicoise salad small and uninspiring for a £19 main course. I've had much better. We chose to sit inside to be away from the hot weather and the traffic noise but most of the tables had been moved out outside so indoors was a bit sparse and lacked atmosphere. Nice touch from the staff bringing us truffles and a birthday candle for one of our party.

Always reliable and good food. Excellent staff and very helpful and accommodating. The manager is amazing and he always tries to accommodate our needs. He is also very friendly and welcoming., so is assistant manger, she is also very pleasant and obliging. We go there almost once every 4-6 weeks and I could not recommend it highly enough.

Never disappointed, always exceeds my expectations! Beautiful surroundings, food and atmosphere!! I highly recommend a visit!

Enjoyable dinner Food good but not exceptional as was service Semi open air venue was very nice Overall a pleasant meal with room for improvement Would definitely return and give it another try

Disappointing. A very different experience to our last visit. The service was poor, and the food mediocre. Not worthy of the prices charged at all. In reading other reviews, it would appear I'm not alone in my experience. Shame, it's a beautiful building and a great venue. If you do go, buy some flowers from the florist and marvel at the Deco architecture of the ex Michelin tyre garage. They will taste better than the food......

Food was really good and tasty, however the service was quite bad. The waiter poured so much wine on the table whilst pouring in the glass. We had a question about the menu and the response was just 'it's potatoes', dismissive and rude. A lot of huffing and puffing as well. We had to wait over 20min to get the check.

It’s nice location but food was just okay. price was pretty high for this level of food and service. We were sitting along the tile wall but the tile wall was very dirty. I was disappointed since it just needs a quick wipe down that would take less than 10min.

Never disappoints! Beautiful setting, great food, efficient staff, Noreen overseeing it all very professionally! Excellent in seafood & fish dishes but also great choice of vegan or meat lovers. Surrounded by Chelsea neighbourhood, flowers, and chic people.
