Nice to have a Mexican restaurant in the area. Good food, but it would be nice if they had a daily special to spice up the menu.

We purchased a donated gift voucher that the owner kindly gave to a charity golf tournament, and used it to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, 2025. We very much enjoyed the ambiance, the Cadillac Margaritas and the food we ordered. They were pretty busy on this date and handled the limitations on seating in the smallish dining room with grace. We witnessed fellow diners with many dietary restrictions have a visit with the chef to assist with their options. I am judgy about Mexican food having been born and raised in Southern California, and really enjoyed what I felt were authentic recipes and presentation. We'll be back!

First of all we’re from San Diego so our Mexican food standards are high. We started with a Cadillac margarita and a Pablo Palmer, both were very good. Ordered chips and salsa (not used to pay for chips) salsa was good, but the chips were hard. Grocery store chips much better. They did not have much depth on the menu for typical Mexican food, some tacos, one enchilada, no burritos, tamales, or quesadillas, etc. We had pulled pork tacos ( very salty) and Swiss enchiladas. The enchiladas were tasty, but their tortillas were hard to cut through. The beans were okay, but the rice was hard and stuck together. They just need some fine tuning.

This is a hidden gem in Mauna Lani! The food was amazing, flavorful and abundant! Andrea took great care of us, we wanted for nothing. It was wonderful to have a relaxing dinner and not have to shout to hear each other. We shared the salsa trio, guacamole and enchiladas - everything was so good, and we had plenty to take home with us. The owner and chef clearly take pride in their dishes. Next time I’ll do a tequila flight! I highly recommend Alebrije.

Food was terrible, service was meh, and they charged $4 for a very small condiment sized salsa without indicating there would be a charge. Def don’t recommend.

Food is great and pricing is reasonable. Not the best on ambiance and view but if you want good Mexican food and good margaritas- it is excellent

Fish tacos were very good. Chicken enchiladas were also quite good. Drinks are tasty and service is very good. Chips are salsas are available but they do have a price tag. We like the chips and ordered a hot and a mild salsa. Both were good. We were surprised that there were few patrons here on a Monday evening. This is not your average Mexican fare.....it is upscale with unusual flavors. Do recommend it.
