   The drinks are really good. The food was OK. The customer service was very subpar. I probably will not be returning very overpriced.

   Wonderful dining experience. Food and service very good. However, the food is too expensive .. not worth the experience.

   Service was extremely slow, from waiting ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there to the 50 minutes it took to get our food. All this waiting at 5:30 when the restaurant was empty. Food is overpriced, from the appetizers to the entrees.

   Disappointed by Service Despite Great Food I was excited to try Salt Water Social after hearing good things, and while the ambience and food mostly lived up to the hype, the service left a lot to be desired. We came in for an early dinner at 5 p.m. and placed our full order by 5:15. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, our food didn’t arrive until 6 p.m. — with no apology or explanation. When I asked about the delay, I was told that three of our four entrées were ready and they were just waiting on the last one. I had to request they bring the ready dishes out so they wouldn’t go cold. Still, no acknowledgment of the wait, no offer of a complimentary item, and nothing taken off the bill. Salt Water Social has potential, especially with its atmosphere and food, but the lack of customer service is a serious drawback. In a neighborhood like Cherry Creek, where there are plenty of restaurants that get both food and service right, it’s hard to justify coming back.

   Very expensive! The food was ok for the price. For example, the crab fried rice was served in a small bowl, about 1 cup and it was $26, expensive and really nothing special. The NY strip steak was a thin cut, 10oz?? Very noisy dining room. Service wasn’t great, server was thorough but not friendly.

   It's hard to understand how a high-end restaurant could fail so miserably! Food was marginal, and our waiter was nowhere to be found, and the dishes sat on the table for some time once we were finished eating and the hostess was the one to clear the table! Some much for a $800.00 plus dinner! One Group needs to do BETTER! In hindsight I should have not given the waiter a tip and should have had a conversation with the manager, but it was Mother Day, and we had been there for 2 1/2 hours, and we were all tried of the poor service. There won't be a next time at this restaurant!

    Really disappointed by our first visit especially because our bill was over $400. We were celebrating Mothers Day and 2 Birthdays and although it was a busy evening it seemed that there were plenty of managers walking around and not nearly enough servers. Our meal took a very long time, they wouldn't let us order appetizers ahead even though we were starving and wanted to get two for the table before ordering. Our waters were always empty, we had to stack plates behind us because they weren't taken away, we had to ask about Entrees that didn't come out and some of the portions (filet and shrimp) were EXTREMELY small especially for the price. The drinks were also very pricey at $22 each and filled with tons of ice. There weren't any apologies or acknowledgements for the slow/poor service and no birthday dessert offered. Unfortunately won't return or recommend which is sad because we were very excited for our experience here.
