Delicious food and great service. Started with Crab and Pork dumpling and the Duck breast. Both were very good. Mongolian Beef Rib(melted in your mouth tender,) Dan Dan Noodles, and Brussel Sprouts were our choices for main course. All were delicious and plenty for 4 people. Staff was attentive and very knowledgable. All in all a great experience. Only complaint would be that the music in the restaurant is very loud. Ever so slightly reduced would make it a perfect experience where conversation can thrive. Try Hale's out and enjoy!

I have been to this restaurant several times, as it is the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. We had the Peking Duck and it is fantastic. Dumpling tower-only wish there had been more! Creative cocktails and unique deserts. We were there with another couple and conversation was difficult. Music should be turned down to allow for more customer conversation. We will be back!

My overall experience at Hale’s Black Brick was an absolute delight. My bartender Chey was spectacular along with my server Brittany the service was outstanding. The food was amazing and delivered in a timely manner! The management was very polite and attentive couldn’t of ask for more I will be back.

Took my mother for her birthday and you guys made her feel like royalty! We had the pork belly to start which was like candy! We could have eaten 3 more lol. I preordered the duck because that is one of our favorite dishes, and it didn’t disappoint. Both my parents are from New York and you cannot find a place that actually gives you the FULL DUCK. Well Hale’s definitely did it right. That is the best duck in Tampa and we were blown away. We will definitely be back! I work as a server at a local restaurant and I would like to think I know good service and our server, the food, Ambiance were all top notch. Thank you for the hospitality, the experience, and making my mom’s birthday so special !

Very nice servers and the food was fantastic We ordered the duck which was prepared beautifully and is worth the reservation alone. The chef and his wife work the floor and make you feel at home. I would highly recommend this spot and enjoyed a special night out

The food and service were good, but I was confused by the overall atmosphere. The table setting have a Asian flair, but then there’s neon signs on the walls and trendy pop music playing louder than is really necessary, the chefs play list from what we were told, and then there were random shows playing on the bar TV that you can see from the dining room. Very confusing vibe overall.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. For a trendy Asian fusion spot, the prices were outrageous for what you get. They market the dishes as shareable, but even the menu itself says “shareable for 1-2 people” — the portions were incredibly small. To make matters worse, almost every dish tasted like it had the exact same sauce, making the whole meal feel repetitive and uninspired. As if that wasn’t enough, there were flies everywhere, which completely killed the dining experience. For the price point, I expected much better food, better portions, and a far cleaner environment. Definitely not worth it. There are plenty of other spots in Tampa that deliver better food, value, and atmosphere.
