Welcome to Októ, where Mediterranean flavors and vibrant ambiance converge. Named after the Greek word for "eight," Októ offers an upbeat atmosphere with a jazzy bar featuring exclusive spirits. Our menu, crafted by Sof chefs Yotam Dolev and Hai Avnaim, showcases innovative, nutritious dishes inspired by Greece, Spain, and the Levant.

Guests can enjoy a seasonal selection of approximately a dozen shareable plates, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of the Mediterranean. The food, service and ambience were great. We also hot to meet the chef. It was great to get recommendation from him about the food.

Ana is fabulous! Will always sit at the bar if she’s working it. Alex also makes delicious espresso martinis! Couldn’t have asked for a better duo that night

Came to celebrate my gf’s birthday and brought a cake beforehand to surprise her with at the end of dinner…unfortunately the general manager ruined the surprise by mentioning the fact that I brought a cake which was pretty disappointing. We also mentioned that my gf had a tree nut allergy multiple times to the general manager and to the waiter. The waiter even somewhat dismissively made it a point to tell us that the staff does a “triple check” for food allergies when I asked to make sure the lamb didn’t have any tree nuts on the same plate…well when the lamb came it had an almond puree touching it. They said they would fix it, but came back moments later with the same lamb that had already touched the almond puree. At that point we didn’t want to make any more trouble and my gf ended up not having any of the lamb to be safe. To their credit they offered to give us a couple espresso martinis for our trouble, but we were running late to an event and had to get the check. Net-net, while the restaurant opened a year ago, they still have quite a bit to figure out from a service perspective…

Loved the Greek salad and the Frena! Also the tuna carpaccio was really nice. Will come back!

Sone of best food I have had in Houston with a couple stuoid good dishes - from New York so bar is high. Denver Cut. Octopus. Lamb chops. Hamachi. Also think it’s evident they have trained ahd managed situation and staff. Moreover, very few of the better Huston restaurants I’ve given a lot of thoughts to their wine list. Sadly, some of them have the most atrocious wines for the quality and expensive food. Okto list is A+

Interesting menu, very good execution in the kitchen - don’t miss the filet, Denver cut and grilled hamachi. The locale is nicely decorated but rather noisy. Value is on the low side, their prices are quite high (eg., $20-25 appetizers) for the quality you get

The food was absolutely amazing. We were celebrating my friends birthday and sat at the bar. The restaurant is so cute and looked just like the pictures I saw online. For appetizers since we were there for Happy Hour we ordered the Hamachi Tartare and Octopus Carpaccio which was so yum! Then we ordered the Frena, Crab Squid Ink Linguini, Octopus and fries which were also so delicious. Everything was 10/10 and we would totally go back! The drinks were so good too we had the Spicy Margarita and the Okto G&T
