   Service was nice and friendly, although there was a significant delay between starter and main course arriving. Starters were good, however on the whole the mains were a little disappointing, particularly the burger which was very dry. Food seems very expensive for the quality, feeling more like middle of the road chain. Would probably avoid going forward

   Service was a little slow, and we had to repeat our order a few times to the server. We forgave this and put it down to perhaps they were a new staff member and wanted to be accurate, etc. It was hard to get the attention of the servers at times. The food and drinks coming out were a little slower than we are used to, and when they did arrive, there would be something missing. It could be forgiven if it were very complicated drinks or food orders, but they were simple enough. For example, I cannot imagine it is hard to forget two cokes. Small things that we didn't expect from a place like this, other IVY restaurants we've been to have always been good, but this one was not as good as those ones. Overall, the food was great, and we will likely come here again as it's nice and local.

   Not as good as it used to be. Fish and chips good except batter was not crispy. Service was very slow.

   Service was slow and at times felt like we weren’t even there. Only 1 drink throughout the whole dinner as the waiter ignored our table. Food overpriced and table was right in front of the disabled toilet. Wouldn’t recommend or go again

   It was a good experience, decor lovely quite a lot of choice, Felt a bit rushed - not time to enjoy our bread and olives before main course- only having an hour and a half on the table feels quite a short amount of time. Waiter attentive, lovely food.

   Table was immediately available on arrival. The wait staff were smart, friendly and attentive but not over bearing. The ambiance was convivial and atmosphere lively but not loud. The drink and food choice was varied and everything but one cocktail was available. The service was efficient but not hurried. The food was good quality and good value for money. All in all a very pleasant (lunch time) experience.

    I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my friend’s 50th birthday here, and the entire experience was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout the evening. The prix fixe menu was a highlight — offering an excellent selection of dishes. Given the caliber of the food and service, the prix fixe menu represents exceptional value. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or even just a memorable night out.
