Service was a little slow to start and made us wait till our exact reservation time even though we were 5 minutes early and our table was ready… had to send back one appetizer since the beer cheese was burnt. However, drinks were great, entrees delicious, and atmosphere was great

Love their beer and they do it awesome, location for a pint or three is a must. I think if your just having some simple shareable food then you will be fine. Breakdown happens when you are ordering an actual dinner, food and drink is served by different runners so you may be halfway through your meal before you have a drink or the other way around.

The hostess was rude. We received the appetizer before our drinks. Food was mediocre based on cost with other restaurants in Whalers Village. Disappointing as we like their beers. The outdoor setting was nice though.

Slow service. Our drink order arrived AFTER our dinner order even though we put our drink order in first / nothing complicated - a glass of beer and a margarita.

We went for happy hour. The food menu consisted of four fried options. Ordered the pork belly bao buns which buns were rock hard. Asked for extra cilantro, sauce cucumber mix to soften up. Was given 5 cilantro leaves and charged for it. It would be nice to have more happy hour food options.

Service was good until the food came. Then our server went AWOL after she stopped back once and promised to refill my water. Finally had to flag her down to get the check when she promptly disappeared again. Left the payment device with me unattended. I couldn't get it to work properly, but I could see all of her info, tables tabs, etc.

First of all, the food and beer were top quality and we would be back for that alone. However, there were so many other issues. It took 45 minutes from when our server took our order until she checked on us again. There was another salad we would have ordered, but at that point it was too late. There was a beer mix up where they brought us the wrong beers, again too late. Then, we get the bill and the happy hour pricing was not applied correctly. They didn’t give us half of the happy hour items at the correct pricing. We had to wait 30 minutes for the manager to correct it. THIRTY minutes when we have a baby starting to meltdown and needing to go to sleep. Multiple times the server said she fixed the issue and it wasn’t fixed. Then the manager said only one item needed to be fixed, when there were several that were wrong still. Either they were doing the math wrong, or purposely trying to scam us. They have some serious issues to fix. CHECK YOUR BILL FOR HAPPY HOUR PRICING

We went to Maui Brewing while visiting Maui for our anniversary. The beer selection was great and served really cold. Wife had a POG seltzer and really enjoyed it. The view from our table out to the ocean could not of been better.

We had pau hana…fish and chips and steak nachos and pretzels with cheese. The dishes were excellent, but the fish was slightly greasy and pretzel was hard. We are accustomed to higher-end beverages (we ordered Chardonnay) and the selection was limited. Overall, the experience and service were satisfactory, but they did not fully meet our specific requirements given our taste. I would still recommend for others to give them a try especially if you are a beer connoisseur.
