   This was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. We had visited Vietnam a few months ago and were so impressed and pleased with our tasting menu choices. I did the fish focused tasting menu and my husband had the meat forward tasting menu. Both were fantastic and perfect portions. Can’t wait to go back again in a few weeks when they change to their next seasonal tasting menus.

   Excellent food and service. Only a competitor would rate this place below 5 stars. A top Santa Fe restaurant, and we’ve been to all of them.

   Wonderful, creative and delicious food in a warm and calming setting with near perfect service from the entire team. Doesn’t get much better anywhere.

   Alkeme was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxing and classy, the food is delicious, and the staff is wonderful. The food is pricey, but it’s worth it. Everything we tried was wonderful. We were served by Willow and Veronica and they were both extremely kind and helpful. The hostess was also very friendly and helpful in walking us through the menu since we’d never been to the restaurant before. We will visit again next time we’re in Santa Fe!

   I do not write restaurant reviews, however, Alkeme was so outstanding I have to. My taste buds freaked out with the wonderful explosion of flavors. There were 5 of us and we had a mix of the 5 course fixed price meals . As a full time resident of Santa Fe for 12 years, Alkeme is probably the most outstanding meal I have ever had in this city. The meal was 3 days ago and I am still thinking about it. That never happens with me.

   The food is very good. Obviously it requires careful attention and time in the preparation. The high cost is justified with the tasty food. It was an irritant, however, to pay $13 for 4oz of an inexpensive sake. The opportunity to provide better value by serving a decent amount of sake and wine was missed. I saw short pours of wine at other tables also.

   This was just an outstanding inventive experience. Probably among the top 3 dining experiences in SF, a strong food scene. Bravo to Erica!

   We both had the tasting menus (one meat, one fish). First three dishes were very good and the last three not great. The branzino was very bland and the short ribs as well. We were expecting much more spice and it wasn’t pleasant. The deserts also were lacking. Wine menus very limited. Would not recommend.

    Always an excellent meal! Great flavour and unique parings make this the perfect place to get a special dinner. I love that they have tasty vegan offerings!
