The care of the staff impressed me the most! We requested via open table, a quiet location. Initially we were seated at a lovely table near the piano. One the music began, it was too loud for us, but we did not say anything as our food service had begun. Soon a manager arrived and stated he read the reservation note about our request for a quiet table and he wanted to move us. We were so thankful and impressed that the staff went to great lengths to make us comfortable.

We’ve been meaning to go to Georgia James for a while but had never been to either the old location or the new one. The food was excellent. The wine list is extensive and fairly priced. The piano player in the main dining room was a nice touch. Not too loud but loud enough to be heard. It is definitely on our rotation now.

I’ve been to GJ several times. Steak and service are always great. I don’t like the new room layout and prefer the old wide open space. The high tables next to the bar are a good addition. In the past the soundtrack was a mix of 90s alt rock and hiphop. This time it was all crappy pop music. There’s no longer anything differentiating the experience vs. other top steakhouses. Bring back the music!

Great experience. Enjoyed the steak (filet) and braised short rib, while listening to the piano player. Great champagne list. Definitely will be back. Great food, comfortable setting and good service.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. This place had such a great vibe. The food and service were both top-tier. We got dressed up, but it appeared you could dress up or down here from what we saw. That did catch us a little off guard considering this to be a fine dining restaurant and the prices. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and definitely plan to return.

Everything was excellent! For an appetizer, we ordered the popcorn shrimp, which was tasty. For entrees, my daughter ordered the fried chicken, which was flavorful and moist. My husband and I ordered the ribeye, which was very flavorful. We requested medium, I think it was maybe a bit more medium rare but we don’t mind that at all. We found the crème brûlée cheesecake to be particularly tasty. Overall, a great experience, with great service and will definitely return.
