My wife and I chose the chef’s choice four course dinner with wine pairing. All of the food was brought to the table by the chef and explained both presentation and ingredients. The service and food and wine was excellent.

Dinner, Redefined: A Love Letter to Next Door Cape 💌 💫 Here's the thing about Next Door Cape: you walk in thinking you’re just out for a nice dinner... and by the second bite, you realize you’ve underestimated everything. Scratch that—by the first spoonful. Before we’d even ordered, we were gifted a tiny, elegant amuse bouche: a puréed cauliflower bisque so velvety, so subtly rich, it could’ve been mistaken for soup royalty. Creamy, comforting, and the culinary equivalent of a wink—it let us know, you’re in good hands tonight. We started with the Tomato & Mozzarella salad, expecting something classic. What we got? A perfectly composed riot of flavor—sweet tomato, spicy ‘nduja, crunchy focaccia crumb, and that parmesan punch. Think Caprese... but with a couture makeover. Then came the Prime NY Strip, and let me just say: if steak could speak, this one would whisper luxury in your ear. Perfectly seared, deeply flavorful, with broccolini that proved vegetables can be show-stealers too. The Duck Breast? Silky. Smoky. Paired with charred cabbage and a black garlic molasses that should honestly be bottled and sold on its own. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-conversation and just… savor. But it's not just about the food (although, wow). The ambiance is pure elegance— soft lighting inside, and we enjoyed outdoor seating with a sunset view over Tarpon Point Marina that was jaw-dropping. The service? Impeccable. Warm, knowledgeable, and never rushed. ✨ The real allure of Next Door Cape is this: You aren't just served a meal. You are given a memory. One you'll casually bring up every time someone mentions Tarpon Point—“Oh, have you been to Next Door? You MUST try!” So go. Dress up a little. Order boldly. Linger longer. And whatever you do, don’t skip the starter. Trust me—it’s only the beginning of a truly inspired dining experience.

We had dinner at Next Door last night and all are meals were delicious! I have an allergy issue and Chef Jess made a special dish for me that was so incredible! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the sous vide swordfish, blackened and then sitting on the most delicious sweet potato purée and topped with a delicious cream sauce. It was the most delicious swordfish I have ever had. The Next Door salad was pretty good, however they needed to rinse the lettuce better because there was grit on the lettuce. Their hand crafted cocktails are next level. The lengths they go to, to create the tasty well balanced cocktails are mad genius. I think the bartender must stay awake at night dreaming up the recipes. Would recommend and go again.

This was our first time at Next door. The food was delicious, the service great and the decor is very nice. We both enjoyed a unique and tasty cocktail. The arancini appetizer was wonderful. I had the Gnudi with a meatball, and my husband had the red fish, cajun style. Both were amazing. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend!
