You’re paying for the location & ambiance. Food was below average, and you could tell the fries had been sitting under a heat lamp. Took close to an hour for our food to arrive.

Food was horrible, I had the burger which was soooo greasy and the fries overly salty my husband had the steak fritters and fries which was dry and undercooked fries salty as well. I would definitely not come back. The bar was packed but dinner was not it.

Boulon Brasserie should just earn the title “Most overrated restaurant in Tampa”. We got seated 15 minutes after our reservation time, they sat us in the most crowded area with tables to spare. Now the food. Nothing made me say “Wow!” Like some of the other fantastic restaurants in the Bay Area like Ulele for example. We only ordered Bread, Blue crab “beignets” and the Bisque/onion soup. Worst onion soup on the planet. All it was, is cheese and beef broth. Not many onions. The “beignets” were essentially just fritters. Not to mention we waited an HOUR for all of this food and none of it was great. After tip, just these items were $83… Overpriced, Overhyped… 0/10 if I could rate it. Won’t be going back.
