Sunday, 22 June: This was really odd for Bennett’s, but the wait staff was really not engaged. They weren’t busy, maybe 6-7 tables were occupied, with each of the 3 servers had 2 tables… but they just weren’t checking on their customers. I know this isn’t how Bennett’s operates, and it won’t deter me from coming back I feel it was an off day for them, and everyone is entitled to have them. See y’all soon.

It is one of our favorite places to eat at. The staff and Margot are always friendly and a joy to be around. The food is never a disappoint.

Sorry to say we got off on the wrong foot when we discovered dead and then live ants on the table after we were seated. We scraped them away, but after we saw more, we moved to the next open spot. It was actually worse as there was a swarm of live ants near the wall so we moved to the next open table. Interestingly, we never saw staff wipe down either table before seating new sets of guests at both spots. We’ve all been to Bennett’s before and constantly recommend it to friends, so this was very disconcerting. None of us have ever seen ants on a restaurant dining table before. Also, most in our party have loved your pork chop and likewise regularly recommend it. But during our last visit and again this time, it was cooked too long so it was very dry. Perhaps it’s because the portion size is noticeably smaller now, making it easier to overcook? Overall, we had a fun time with our friends and the rest of our meals were quite good so we’ll be back. But we will all likely hesitate to give an unqualified recommendation.

Bennett's is a fine establishment, perfect meeting place for all types of customers. Excellent service, food and drinks. Reasonably priced meals which are very good and tasty meals! Meals were delivered to our table hot and well presented. The Jalapeno Cornbread was very tasty. Our server took very care of us and met every dining expectation accordingly.

Father’s Day Sunday, Prime Rib Special! Per the hosts, they were not expecting as large a crowd. We had reservations so no worries. IT was way too loud and chilly inside for my 96-year-old father (no he’s not feeble by any means) so we scored an outside table, perfect. The waiter was excellent, we met the manager who fixed our rocking table :) The food was outstanding. We had a lovely evening celebrating family and love. Many thanks to Bennett’s staff.

This was our second visit to Bennett’s, and once again, it did not disappoint! We had such a great experience the first time that we knew it would be the perfect place to celebrate my dad for Father's day . From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—starting with the hostess, who graciously accommodated two additional guests at the last minute. Our waiter was exceptional: attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel special. Dinner was delicious, and while we didn’t have room for dessert this time, we’ll definitely be back.
