I wanted to share some concerns regarding the handling of food allergies during our recent visit. When I made the reservation, I mentioned that it was a birthday celebration and listed the food allergies we needed to be cautious of. Unfortunately, I don’t feel these were acknowledged when we arrived. Before ordering, we asked the server if a dish contained peanuts or eggs, as those are critical allergies for my son. The server checked with the kitchen and responded with “none,” and we proceeded with ordering. However, shortly into the meal, my son complained of an itchy mouth after eating the rice. Concerned, we asked another server if the dish contained any egg or nuts. This server confirmed that the chicken in the dish did, in fact, contain egg. When we brought this up with our original server, her response was “oh, you just said peanut,” and no further action was taken to resolve the situation or even offer an apology. This left us feeling really disappointed, especially given the seriousness of food allergies. We were hoping for more attentiveness and accountability when it came to managing allergens. I understand mistakes happen, but I would have expected a more responsible response, especially after informing the staff in advance. We love the food and ambiance, but this experience has made us hesitant about returning, as food allergies require much more careful handling.

Christakis is a real gem. The food is excellent, the ambience is terrific, and the prices are reasonable. Our server was especially nice too.

Phenomenal atmosphere and amazing food. Sit outside in the evenings to be seranaded by the very talented guitarist. Highly recommend for any occasion.

Had a great evening for two, great food, salmon and pork chop, both were cooked just right and was served hot! Service was impeccable, wine was a very good recommendation from Carlos. We will be back!!!❤️

Not a great experience on my daughter’s birthday. The food, while usually good, was definitely lacking. Cucumbers came out over ripe, and looked very old. French fries were served first-not ideal, no ketchup despite requesting many times. Lacking in serving utensils. Overall, very subpar for an expensive restaurant. Our bill was over $250.
