Ambiance was nice and service was good, but the food was truly just bad considering the price. If I had paid $15 for the most mediocre fajitas ever, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. But $30 is a ridiculous price. I got the pastalaya and it was inedible. Instead of a cream sauce, the noodles have this spicy oil that makes them gummy and slimy at the same time. The chicken and shrimp were hard and tasted completely unseasoned. The restaurant did take the pasta off the bill, but that didn’t change the bad experience.

We waited 10 minutes after being seated and nobody came to take our order. There was wait staff just standing around. So we left in the end. Highly overpriced for the food

Took the grandkids while visiting us in Galveston. I was very impressed with service and good for a tourist restaurant. Ibrahim was our waiter. He was very attentive and took the kids order first. I would recommend for a family friendly restaurant.

Sude, our server, made this dinner special. She is warm, attentive, kind, and quick to offer and respond to any request. Three different generations visited the Rainforest Cafe and we all left happy. I personally did not care for the fish & chips, as it was a bit too fishy and the crust made me fear breaking my teeth. But everything else was absolutely delicious, incl the frozen drinks: alcolic and non-alcoholic. The appetizer sampler, the beefy burger, and coconut shrimp where a big hit. My grandson was visited by the balloon artist and was ecstatic by the results, and we ended our adventure with a very entertaining boat ride. A great afternoon! Thank you very much.

I made reservations and ask to be seated next to the fish tanks… got seated by the fog wall in front.. by a huge tree the was blocking everything. It was for my son’s birthday celebration.

Service was extremely slow, consistently having to repeat ourself multiple times, they were cramming large parties in booths too small, there was face painting/balloon things/and photo takers, it was overwhelming and money grabbing- ruined the whole experience.

Our reservation got us right in with minimal wait. Normal wait time was 1hr 45min. Glad we used Open Table to plan ahead. Atmosphere was fun. Waitress was very nice & attentive. Good was yummy!

It’s Rainforest. You gotta go for the kitsch. Especially if you have kids. The food isn’t any more pricey than a lot of other restaurants and it’s generous portions. Wonderful hamburgers! It’s worth it for the experience and seeing the kids faces. They love it! I suggest if your kid is under age 3 ask to be seated away from the animatronics. They’re pretty loud and realistic to a small child.
