Inaniwa Udon Noodle (Hot/Cold)
Delicious sea food friendly service reasonal price forquality
We had reservations for an early dinner and were seated right away, next to the windows overlooking the Sheraton Hotel lawn, and it was beautiful. My friend ordered misoyaki butterfish and vegetable tempura with the rice set, and I ordered the same entrees in the Kaiseki course. The food was very good, but the butterfish was a little small compared to the picture on the menu. We noticed the person on the next table had also ordered butterfish and their piece was much bigger, so we were a little disappointed. The service was very good, however, and the waitress asked if we wanted to split the ice cream dessert (it came with the Kaiseki) so that my friend and I could each have a sampling. The restaurant seemed very clean and we'll probably come back and try the teppanyaki side the next time.
Good whiskey. Otherwise a very average japanese restaurant catering to tourists. Not noteworthy.
Dimes in the sushi restaurant. Have been here multiple times over the years. Only downside has been if I couldn’t get in. Excellent quality ingredients expertly prepared. Nice atmosphere.
Loved the appetizer sampler.
Took the steak . I Should have taken off fire earlier. Still it was good.
Always fun atmosphere. Food is excellent and suntory alcohol is a treat.
This is a lovely restaurant with great service but unfortunately the food is lacking in flavor.
The Chicken Teriyaki was delicious but the other items that we ordered were disappointing.
The Shinjo shrimp were quite oily and had no crunch at all.
The Chicken Karaage had no seasoning and the flavor was too mild.
The vegetable tempura was also oily and little flavor.
The Unagi don was good but the portion size is too tiny for an adult.
We loved the friendly service, but unfortunately we did not enjoy the food.
Dinner tonight was really disappointing because we had eaten here last year and enjoyed it.
Usually good food, portions on some dishes really need improvement, service was inattentive
Our server was very professional!
We cerebrate our anniversary. Everybody had own favorite things so we love to go there. Personally, if you want quiet time, sushi counter is right place to eat. Reservation recommended.
Wide variety of Japanese dishes to suit everyone's taste. Macadamia nut tofu was creative and yum. The value of the food was very reasonable. The tempura was a tad greasy. The pork katsu was a bit dry and interesting as we were expecting a pork cutlet breaded and sliced. The dish had 5 medallions of breaded pork patties. The clam soup cooked was sake was fragrant and pleasant surprise. Service was excellent and attentive.
This was our 2nd visit since 2017 and the restaurant maintain its high service standard. Teppanyika is still good and chef is helpful and interactive with customers. We enjoyed a very good time tonight with my thanks and appreciations. I would come back again during my next visit in future...
Food was good, server didn’t say much but they were very attentive and flexible.
Food was good but not what we expected. The menu changed to have less selection in Washoku dining. Used to have more selection and course dinner meals.
Excellent food & friendly staff. We did come back already on the next night!
My teppanyaki salmon melted in my mouth. Restaurant sang Happy Birthday and provided my friend with a deep fried ice cream dessert with candle. It was literally icing on the cake to a great evening.
Enjoyed a great meal at Suntory. Our waitress Peggy was great at accommodating our family including two one yr olds.
Chef Peter was great. Would go back again
Nice and quiet atmosphere, hopefully, there was a piece of serene Japanese music.
We had the omakase dinner. Our friends from Japan was very impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Great experience 😊
Mostly good but the Teppanyaki chef wasn’t good and so the expensive beef didn’t come in the great taste!!
Restaurant pays attention to the minutest of details such as tea/tea cup temperature when served. Loved the Ikebono flower arrangement throughout the restaurant. Although, a "hashi oki" would have been a nice touch. Some of the plateware seemed a bit dated, but not a big deal. If English-speaking wait staff attempts to speak Japanese, please ensure they use the proper formal speech level, otherwise, best to stick with English, i.e., don't want to sound a bit rude to Japanese visitors who are used to the "polite form" from wait staff. Easy reservations with Open Table, and enough "reminders" so I wouldn't forget!
We had teppanyaki dinner. Food was ok but it was too smoky. They need to have better ventilation.
This is my favorite restaurant in Waikiki very fresh tasty Teppan cooking. Plus they are very efficient. Love it.
Compared to Tanaka of Tokyo, Restaurant Suntory is disappointing. Very little taste to the food yet the prices are relatively high. Tried it once but no more!!!!
Surprised that they didn’t even offer small sweets for our special occasion.
Wonderful service, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Great experience!
This is a more traditional Japanese restaurant. There wasn’t much on the menu would eat. We switched to the hibachi side and it was better!
Fish are very fresh
Sushi chef is excellent and professional!
