Cajun country's most famous soup with as many variations as there are cooks. Chef Ricky's version is free range chicken with andouille sausage, okra, tasso, simmered in a rich broth
Redfish on the halfshell blackened with Cajun seasoning in a cast iron skillet served with drawn butter and watercress
Great dining experience in NOLA! We had the duck and blackened redfish entrees, which were very good, but the absolute star of the night was the gumbo. Don’t pass it up. They will split portions of this as well! Portions are a bit larger than we thought - shared appetizer, shared gumbo, one shared side and 2 entrees was more than our party of 2 could handle.
Great for quiet dates. Great ppl Great food Great time
Loved this restaurant. It was very close to our hotel. I had 2 Sazerac original cocktails and they were delish. The food was fantastic. We had the BBQ pork belly appetizer and was soooo good. I had the duck and my son had the fish of the day, which was a speckled trout. Both was top notch. We shared a beignet creme brulee for dessert, which was an excellent dessert. I would go here regularly if we lived in Nola.
Rebirth came highly recommended to us for a birthday dinner and it surely did not disappoint! We each got something different so we could try as much as possible on the menu and everything was equally amazingly delicious. I would like to add that the gumbo is the best I have ever had-everyone has there own recipe and theirs is exactly what I look for!!
This restaurant has the potential to be fantastic but my pork was slightly over cooked. The gumbo was exceptional and my friend loved her steak
The food was delicious at a nice, newer and trendy steakhouse. Being midwesterners, we know steak and it was very good quality.
We had a delightful dining experience. The food was delicious, service was impeccable. We will be putting this on our list of favorite restaurants in NOLA.
Henry was fantastic! Also, we truly appreciated Manny checking in a few times throughout the meal. Wonderful evening and we will be back!
Go here! Its all about the food. The venue is quaint but not one of these soaring spaces, so if you are someone who cares about those trappings,, this is not for you. The food is excellent bordering on spectacular.. Six of us had dinner there last evening. The food was uniformly excellent. My wife had the duck, rich, crispy, perfect. I had the redfish, perfectly cooked, generous size, blackened but not overly spiced, allowing the real nature of the fish to come through. Pork belly app was just perfect, served over succulent greens, again with balanced seasoning so you can actually appreciate the pork belly porkiness and crunch. Swordfish special was a home run, my friend pretty much licked his plate. This restaurant has a strong identity, they let the great product they are sourcing come through, and the service is note perfect, not overbearing, not too formal, informative. There are supply chain issues affecting wine list availability, so heads up if you have your heart set on a particular one. We started with a sancerre but it was their last bottle. Not a big deal. Big thumbs up.
Very good spot in the New Orleans warehouse district. I had the gumbo and their duck dish and both were really tasty. It’s a fairly small place so Opentable reservations are suggested. I was there on a Tues. night and it was fairly busy, but not too noisy. Very good staff. Recommended for a very solid ‘farm to table’ Creole/Cajun experience.
One of the best restaurants we have ever experienced!
Everything was great! The food was delicious, my steak was cooked perfect!
Thanks again, will be back soon.
Fabulous meal, Highly recommended
All around great experience
One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had! Everyone in our three person party love the food. It was amazingly good. Everything our waiter recommended was exactly what we needed and more. I’d recommend the scallops entree and gumbo appetizer.
Everything was fabulous except the music which was not live. It was a taped collection, some was good but most of it was awful.
Listen to Henry he on point on the food...
Everything was amazing! The food unbelievably outstandingly great! Staff were awesome! It was a great experience. Perfect place for my birthday dinner.
Great fresh local fish with superb service
It was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food was outstanding; compliments to the chef. We had the pork belly, gumbo, and oyster angel hair pasta appetizers. Service was great; our waiter was incredible. Only negative (sort of) was our pork chop and duck entree sizes were enormous. Lol.
Overall great experience, service was excellent as was the food. We had multiple appetizers, fish as the entree and dessert. All cooked perfectly, served in a no rush atmosphere that allowed for good conversation and after dinner drinks.
We loved our waitress. She was awesome!!!
Food & service were great
The food was amazing! Such a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back.
Food and service was excellent!!!
Excellent food and service. We enjoyed our meal.
Very good! Great Pork belly appetizer and white chocolate bread pudding.
Service and food are top notch here. Ms Sierra, Ms Sophie, and the General Manager are some of the best people i’ve met. All that said, the atmosphere here lends itself to easily meeting and befriending new folks. My brother and i had the pleasure of befriending an awesome local couple who made the night so much more enjoyable. Blessed to meet Josh and Taysha this eve…love you guys 🤙
We will not be back. The gumbo had way too much sausage in it The pork chop tasted good but was clownishly large. Premises were not exactly clean, and the service was slow.
Music was beautiful, service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal!!
Food was fabulous! Using open table made for an enjoyable evening.
Fab food great service. Quiet because it's so small. My friend with me is a born in New Orleans An expert on food quality. He enjoyed it on his 1st visit. Super gumbo.
Amazing food- excellent service. Would HIGHLY recommend visiting this “off the beaten path” restaurant when in NOLA!!
Riley and the food were amazing!! Would definitely recommend
It was my birthday & I had the BEST food here. Everything was excellent.
Food was good, menu is small but quality is excellent! I will be back until I try all the entrees!
The food was fantastic. Great Redfish, Mahi, shrimp, pork belly. No complaints. Enjoyed the evening..
My steak was perfectly cooked. it came out on a sizzling cast-iron skillet. the outside had a wonderful crust and the inside was still medium rare. Topping it off with the chimichurri sauce completed the meal perfectly. My date ordered the mahi-mahi which was also fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner for two!
Friendly wait staff, very tasty and well-prepared food. The pork belly was unbelievably good! As were the scallops, gumbo, creme brulee with beignets, and white chocolate bread pudding. Wonderful local food, including PJs coffee! We often like trying new places in NOLA and not necessarily returning to places we've been, but Restaurant Rebirth is one that we plan to revisit!
