Amazing dining experience. My only comment would be the lobster was a tad chewy, however this was only my second time eating lobster so perhaps that’s how the protein is supposed to be? The flavour was amazing though, as was everything else we ate and drank. The servers are attentive and charismatic, will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful experience! The Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel special for my mom's 60th birthday. The food and presentation were amazing. We will definitely visit again!

E18teen is a beautiful restaurant located within Ottawa's Byward Market. It is a higher end restaurant with exceptional service and prices comparable with similar style restaurants. The food is good with surprisingly larger portions than one would expect. I had the rib eye steak with mushrooms and fries, while my wife had the Lobster Pasta, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. As it was my wife's birthday, she received a complimentary desert which was well appreciated One small annoyance was that we were charged $15 more for our wine (FRAPPATO, MANDRAROSSA,) than was listed on the menu (which unfortunately we didn't notice until after we had left). Overall, a pleasant meal in a pleasing environment.

Absolutely amazing meal that my partner and I had to celebrate our anniversary. We both had the 3 course chef tasting menu and it was simply stunning. The waitress even gave us free sparkling wine while we waited for our cocktails because the bar was a little backed up. A great restaurant, must try!

The tasting menu provided an excellent combination of delectable tastes with each course while the wine pairings delivered amazing enhancements.

Caesar salad wasnt worth the $.....risotto tasted like oatmeal.....burger was dry and not a $30 experience....restaurant was nice enough to comp us on the risotto but couldnt figure out how to make out debit card work

The best service, knowledge and passion comes through on their creativity the menu. We ordered the chiefs experience tasting menu with the wine pairing.
It was the most exquisite meal we have ever had and it could of not been more well matched with wine.
The most ridiculous and surprising plate just before the main course will delight you.

The restaurant was, as usual, warm and welcoming. This applies to the actual physical surroundings and especially the staff. The crudo was superb, both with subtle nuances of flavour but also a lovely underlying heat emanating from its andouille oil. Both mains, salmon and black cod were carefully prepared; their textures excellent. The gentle saucing for the black cod was particularly enjoyable. We finished with a plate of artisanal cheeses from Quebec which was the perfect finish to a fine meal. Our main server chose a very suitable wine which complemented both mains. Service was exemplary.

Birthday & anniversary. Experience was nice but food was overpriced.

Girlfriend and I went for our anniversary. We both got the Chef Experience from the tasting menu, and it was incredible. Perfect amount of food spread across five courses. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely will be coming back for future occasions!

Our evening was excellent. Grilled octopus was delicious. Lamb and duck were good too, the first few bites tasted awesome, but slowly the flavor waned (maybe it got cold). Our main server was excellent. Others had a few bloopers(still water into sparkling water glass, adding a table to our 2 person table to make room for another group while we were still dining, which was not very nice , etc.). Overall, it was a good experience and would recommend.

We enjoyed celebrating a birthday on Valentine’s Day! Although the set menu was limiting it was delicious and had something for all of us.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Went for Valentine’s Day where they had a reduced menu and my girlfriend and I were blown away. Absolutely recommend going, well worth the price.

Absolutely amazing venue! Food is top-notch and the ambiance matches. We took my mother out for her birthday and the service was very kind and attentive. Our only complaint was being close to the door we were often hit with a very drafty blast of cold air and for the price, we would have appreciated avoiding that. e18hteen is a real treat and is the perfect place for special occasions.

Billed as one of Ottawa’s best. Not sure how. Only positive was a nice waiter. Crab cake smelled very fishy. Shared veal chop was average and not warm. Poor Ottawa if this is your best.

The food was beautiful and the ambience more so. Our service was great. Overall, a really nice experience.
