The tea service was absolutely wonderful, with delicious food, beautifully presented. The staff were professional and very pleasant, making for a very good experience. This was a gift for a family member and I recommend it to anyone trying to put together a special afternoon.

Great food and service good for dinner we had a good time

I visited Joey Rideau last night for my anniversary dinner and it didn't disappoint! Despite being so crowded, servers were thoughtful and engaging. The food was marvelous - a great mix of flavour combinations and I also appreciated the kitchen serving shared dishes in two separate plates- while maintaining presentation. The cocktails we tried were also really good with a unique blend of flavour profiles. Dim lights and contemporary music uplifted the ambience, while the acoustics ensured noise decibels didn't reach a disturbing level, despite the restaurant being at full capacity. Definitely worth a second visit!

We give it a high recommendation for the varied menu of fresh and interesting dishes -- I had the endive salad -- and extensive wine list. I especially appreciate the staff's attention to the requests I had mentioned in my comment when reserving through OpenTable. So thoughtful. The waitress was attentive and cheerful. A lovely experience all around. We will return.

Amazing, interesting food and so many gluten-free options! I have to go back because I wanted to order everything. The gluten-free bread with the wonderful smoked eggplant dip was shockingly good. The cabbage-tofu dish was lovely, as was the brown butter halloumi. I'd suggest sharing the halloumi and pairing it with something lighter, as it is a lot of cheese. The prices were reasonable and the service friendly. And they let you make a reservation for the patio. Ember sets the bar high and then surpasses it. I hope that other restaurants take a page out of their book.
