   Went on a Sunday night with my girlfriend. There were a total of 19 guests during the 2.5 hours we were there. Service started off well, but after our first round of drinks, it took another 25 minutes to receive the second. By the time they arrived, we immediately ordered a third round knowing it would likely take just as long—unfortunately, we were right. The food was great—I’ll give them that. We had the steak for two, which was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. That said, it would have been nice if our server had taken a moment to explain the dish or the sides. Instead, it was more of a “here’s your food, enjoy” kind of experience. At $350, we expected a much smoother and more attentive level of service. We weren’t the only ones frustrated—other tables seemed visibly annoyed as well. All in all, while the kitchen delivered, the overall experience felt underwhelming for the price. There’s definitely potential here, but the service needs to match the quality of the food if they want to justify that kind of bill.

   This is one of my favourite restaurants in Ottawa. It is a beautiful establish well managed, staff and food is outstanding. I highly recommend.

   Thank you Zach for taking such great care of us! Your knowledge of the menu and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. You were attentive with excellently timed table touches. We enjoyed a Good Friday Easter fine dining experience with our family. Thank you to the Chefs for an extraordinary meal. The cook on the chateaubrian for two was perfect. The blue cheese crust coins were delicious and a perfect accompaniment for our dish. The creme brûlée was freshly made and creamy. Bravo to the front of house and back of house on a very well enjoyed dinner. Thank you!!!

   Perfect spot to celebrate a milestone birthday in a quiet romantic setting. Chateaubriand for two was perfectly cooked, assortment of sauces suggested by our server Alex were delicious. Service was attentive and gracious. We’ll likely return for the next non milestone birthday or just when we want a special meal in lovely surroundings.

   Our server was an absolute doll, he was so sweet and attentive. The service was amazing. I got the octopus as an appetizer and it genuinely could’ve been a main, it was so delicious. For my majn I got the 7 oz striplon with cesar salad and fries, which was absolutely divine. But the highlight for me was their dessert, I got the chocolate mousse and my friend got the pistachio roulade, both were absolutely spectacular, I would go back a million times just for their dessert. Even the complimentary bread was to die for, the sun dried tomato dipping sauce was spectacular, and they also gave us a spoon filled with fruits which tasted amazing.

   Australian ribeye was extremely flavourful. A must try. The bone marrow bordelaise sauce took it to a next level. Great service and wine list made it a very enjoyable evening.

   We were very disappointed with our meals and service. The waiter spilled a glass of wine on my friend and did not apologize or look upset. She then ordered a steak medium and it came rare, she sent it back and after 20 mins they brought it back medium rare, instead of medium and again with no apologies. I ordered the lobster, shrimp , muscle dish, and was never more disappointed and upset. You needed a microscope to see the shrimp, they looked like miniature canned shrimp, the muscles were the smallest I have ever seen. So upset as this dish is expensive and totally deceiving. Unbelievable. We will definitely not be going back or recommending this restaurant.

   The food, service and ambiance were all excellent! Perfect spot for the best food, service, location, ambiance etc. It's the whole package for a perfect dining experience. I sincerely thank everyone that puts in the effort to make this my favorite restaurant in Ottawa.

    Incredible. We did the 5 course tasting meal. It was perfect. Every dish unique. Flavors and combos I could never imagine so beautifully prepared and presented.
