Service was great. We sat outside, which was more quiet than inside and watched the sun go down. Food was delicious: poke tacos, macadamia crusted fish and fish sandwich. Love the margarita and the Mai tai did not disappoint my husband!

Our server Sidney was amazing and that was the highlight of our evening. Otherwise, this is overhyped and overpriced for the food/drink you receive. The mai tai was about the only thing I would say was worthy of the high price. The fish was dry and lamb chops small. You are better off going to Pita Paradise across the parking lot for more bang for your buck with outstanding flavors and ambience.

I was here in 2022 and the fish and chips was amazing. Ordered them last night and the fish was dry and one piece was fishy tasting. Super disappointing. The bulgogi pork tacos are fire tho

Great that the restaurant was open late (we had a 9:30 pm reservation after arriving from the mainland. Great Mai Tais and a diverse menu.

It was our first time to Monkeypod - overall we really enjoyed everything we tried. The lobster deviled eggs had too much dill for our table's liking... but still good. The artisan pizzas are incredible! We tried, and devoured, the lamb one... The fish and chips were also good but lots of breading and not a lot of fish. Fish tacos were fresh, tasty, and hit the spot! Beers at $10 were a bit higher than we're used to - most places we go they're $9 or so.

Service was ok but food was not good. Group of 13 and only 1 individual liked their meal. Kids menu was good. Energetic vibe. Just not sure if we would be back or recommend to anyone due to the food taste. Very bland.

Absolutely loved our visit to Monkeypod in Wailea! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all top-notch, but what truly made our experience memorable was our server, Nick. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and had the perfect mix of professionalism and warm aloha spirit. Nick took great care of our table, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to our next visit. Mahalo, Nick and Monkeypod team, for such a great dining experience!

Aloha, Mahalo for the amazing review! We're stoked to hear you had such a great time at our Wailea location—and huge shoutout to Nick! We're lucky to have him on the team, and we'll make sure he sees your kind words. So glad the food, drinks, and aloha spirit all hit the mark. Can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! We absolutely loved MonkeyPod so much, we ended up going back a second time. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals both times. The service was great, and the atmosphere was nice as well. I wish we could go back a third time. We are going to go to Merriman‘s where we anticipate another great experience.
