    My wife and I went for our 20th anniversary. We ordered the grand shellfish tower as an appetizer. For entrees, I got the Chilean Sea Bass Ramen and my wife got the Spicy Blu Crab “Louie” Capellini. The tower was served pretty quickly and was very good. However, my wife and I were only halfway through eating it when our entrees were delivered to the table. We had to send them back to the kitchen so we could finish the tower. Clearly an error on the waiters part when putting in our order (and not the only one). While we continued to eat from the tower our waiter came out to ask if he could make room for the entrees. This was very poor considering we were still enjoying the shellfish. We told him we already sent the entrees back to the kitchen and he then left us to finish, or so we thought. The entrees then arrived at our table again while we were trying to enjoy the last oysters which we had to quickly eat because we didn’t want to send the entrees back again. By now our enjoyment of the appetizer had been ruined by us being rushed to eat it throughout. My wife’s dish was standard for a Beurre blanc sauce dish but certainly nothing special and the spicy description it turned out was a little red chili pepper flakes sprinkled in. Really nothing special. My dish came out covered and was presented to me as a “surprise” when they removed the lid. The Sea Bass which looked perfectly seared on top had apparently steamed under the lid and was wet and over cooked by the time it made it to the table. The star of the dish was the broth which was very good, but they do not serve the dish with a spoon to be able to enjoy it. I asked the waiter for a spoon which he forgot to bring. After a reminder he showed up with what looked like a serving spoon (it was huge and awkward to eat with). For dessert I got the 20 year port which was very good but they overcharged me $140! Check your receipt here. We would never go back and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

    We were really looking forward to dining here after reading the menu. It was the last night of our vacation and my husband wanted lobster. It turned out not only were there at least 5 menu offerings featuring lobster, but Adam, our server, offered lots of options on the size, preparation and combinations. I started with the garden maki in place of a salad, and it was good but with all the rice, kind of heavy for a first course. My husband’s Caesar salad was classic (so hard to find these days!) He was very happy with the lobster tail that he paired with seared scallops. I got the lobster, shrimp and scallop grilled entree. It was good and perfectly cooked but I wish I had tried something more interesting, like the Chilean sea bass ramen. The hash brown potatoes side my husband chose were so good and plentiful that he took the leftovers home for the next day’s breakfast! The key lime pie we shared was the best we’ve ever had. We want to say also that Adam was fantastic. He was so helpful in every aspect of our meal and suggested the perfect wine. If we find ourselves in the area again we will return.

    I frequent this restaurant every time I’m in Baltimore. The food was good, however the server was just okay. I had a free appetizer card that was given to me by a prior server— who was excellent I might add— and the card was never honored. The server acknowledged the card and even said how great the previous waiter was who gave it to me, but never took the appetizer off my bill… My fiancé didn’t want to make a fuss so he just paid it. This was probably the poorest service I’ve received since dining there.

    Unfortunately, our experience was poor due to very poor service. When we arrived for our 7pm reservation the hostess staff seemed confused and unorganized. There were 3 or 4 employees that came up to the hostess kiosk and checked something on a tablet or the seating chart and then would say something to the hostess and walk away. It took them 5-6 minutes to seat us despite the fact that the restaurant was less than a third full and there was no one else waiting to be seated. It gets worse. The server greeted us almost immediately after we were seated. He then disappeared for about 15 minutes until he finally returned to take our drink order. We didn't see him again for another 15 - 20 minutes until he came and explained the menu to us. He was wiping sweat from his forehead the entire time he was explaining the menu. He took our appetizer order. Our appetizer came and then our meals without a problem. When we were finished he started clearing the table and then left the check without asking us if we wanted dessert or coffee. My wife asked about dessert and he said "Oh, you want dessert?" Bottom line: The food was delicious but the service was awful. I

    The food was delicious! It was my first time having a famous Maryland crab cake and theirs was phenomenal. The steak was cooked to perfection and their black truffle butter was an excellent touch. Mike was my server and he was very attentive and checked on me often. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be returning myself.
