   The food was okay but I had to use a cell phone to look at it because the room was so dark. Good luck trying to find a comfortable seat to eat your meal. The general Seating is more like eating in a lounge chair rather than sitting straight up.

   Food was good and prepared as we requested. Nothing outstanding or different but good. Service was excellent and the timing of the food being brought out was very good. For a steakhouse in a city with so many fantastic restaurants, I don’t think we would return here.

   From the hostess to our server, Lucia, everyone was wonderful and welcoming! We told Lucia that this was our first time in New Orleans and she is serving us our first meal. She was so excited for us, helped us with menu selections and brought us our first beignets. She told us these were the best in the city. SHE WAS NOT WRONG!!! We did try a few others, and while they were good, they did not compare to the beignets at The Steakhouse. In addition to the beignets, we also enjoyed the Louisiana BBQ Shrimp and the crabcake was the best I have ever had!!

   The food and service was excellent. If you are on a limited budget this is probably not the place to go and eat as it was a little expensive, but we knew that going in, since my wife and I always pick a high end restaurant during our vacations and this was the restaurant that we chose during this visit.
