El chef y restaurantero, Jonh Howie, presenta su restaurante estelar de cortes finos en el noroeste de Estados Unidos, sirviendo filetes de primera calidad USDA añejados, carne de res Wagyu estadounidense y australiano, carne A5 100% de Wagyu japonés, pescado y mariscos frescos de temporada proveniente del Pacífico, así como champiñones, verduras y frutas locales. Jonh Howie Steak cuenta con dos parrillas de leña y utiliza carbón de mezquite y madera de manzano, los cuales agregan sabores sutiles a los alimentos. We love John Howie Steak and John Howie Whiskey! I chose John Howie Steak for our anniversary dinner and we had a fantastic experience, as always. The server was the perfect balance of professional yet friendly. I love the selection of pan-seared steaks on the menu (which I don't remember seeing in the past). I had the twice-baked potato as a side. Amazing and flavorful. I just finished it for lunch today and it felt like a meal on its own. Our cocktails (Paper Plane, Smoked Black Manhattan, Grand Larceny) were delicious. John Howie Steak and Whiskey will continue being our go-to spots on the Eastside.

I’m not going to write with you, but the food was a little above average. I will see the crabcakes and the corn was delicious. The steak was really good, but I’ve had better again. The service was good no issues there. He was attentive and good but for a Bellevue restaurant they charge these prices not so nice.

We had a fantastic evening at the restaurant, enjoying a memorable dinner with my husband and our two daughters. We ordered deviled eggs, four different steaks, mashed potatoes, fries, broccoli, and Creme Brûlée & Volcano Cake for dessert. The steaks were cooked to perfection, with the Wagyu Rib Cap Steak standing out as the most flavorful. My Filet Mignon was good but leaned a bit dry for my taste. The fries didn’t win over the group as I had hoped, so most of the order went untouched—though, surprisingly, I enjoyed them! The mashed potatoes, which were more of a puree as described in the menu, were smooth and creamy. I do wish they had more side options, like Scalloped Potatoes, since that’s my favorite for special occasions. For dessert, the Creme Brûlée wasn’t particularly impressive—though my family kindly reassured me that the one I make at home is better! The Volcano Cake was decadent and rich, exactly as expected, but too indulgent for us to finish, even when shared. The service was exceptional! Our waitress, Heidi, was absolutely wonderful—attentive, knowledgeable, engaging, and effortlessly funny. A lovely experience overall, with great food and even better service! Looking forward to visiting again.

Ruben was our server and he was so nice & pleasant. Funny charismatic guy! I learned I’m not a fan of bone marrow. It was very gooey and oily. The tomahawk steak was superb! Veggies were veggies, simple. The 3 kinds of salt were so good. Oysters were the BEST I’ve ever had. They sampled a Wagyu chimichiri on a spoon that I would alone go back for

Disappointed with the steak. The amuse bouche was tasty but the rest just ok; it was not anything special. The food at Seastar was much better.

The good nice clean place. Excellent servers. The bad- way overpriced steaks. My Porterhouse was $138 without any sides. I ordered it medium rare and it came blue rare. It was also quite tough and too salty. I returned it complaining how under cooked it was and obviously not medium rare. I expected a new steak but they just cooked it some more and said the cooking would tenderize it. The recooked steak was medium rare but still tough. My wife's 8oz tenderloin was good- cooked correct but very expensive. The twice baked potato was excellent and the mushroom side was good but very small portion. The server asked if we wanted some bread and we said ok. The bread basket was quite good but they ended up charging us $11 for the basket which we assumed was complementary. $10 draft beer and $20 small pour wine. Crazy big bill for average steaks.

The service is exceptional . The ambiance is great. The food was good but not excellent. I had a salmon dish that was not that great. The flavors surrounding the salmon seemed very confusing to my palate. There was some type of salad over the salmon as it layers in a carrot puree with fingerling potatoes and green olives. My husband had a Wagyu ribeye which was tasty but again not excellent as one would expect at this type of restaurant. But service was of course exceptional. Also to note,, Server offered to give me a different dish but I declined. Overall I would recommend

Overall the experience was great. There were a few minor items but none that impacted the experience. Our server was top notch and a pleasure interacting with. The drinks were splendid and the desserts were great. It’s lovely coming in and being treated so kindly and warmly.
