Just off the Sunset Strip, Cavatina blends vibrant Californian cuisine with an Italian twist, led by Chef Luis Morales.     This Mother’s Day, we’re cranking up the celebration and bringing back a Sunset Marquis classic — our legendary buffet, curated by Chef Luis Morales returns for Mother’s Day Brunch! From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, gather the family, grab a plate, and get ready to rock with a buffet lineup that’s bigger, bolder, and better than ever. $125 per adult, $65 for children ages 5–11 (last reservation at 2:30 PM). Bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Marys? Of course. $40 per person, and the good vibes keep flowing all afternoon long. Here’s a little taste of what’s waiting: SEAFOOD BAR Fresh, chilled prawns, West Coast oysters, Peruvian bay scallops, and assorted sushi rolls — all served with yuzu cocktail sauce, horseradish, pickled ginger, and wasabi. It's a seafood lover’s dream! COLD STATION Dive into smoked salmon with classic toppings, artisan charcuterie boards, imported and domestic cheeses, fresh fruits, and a rainbow of salads — from a vibrant quinoa and spring vegetable toss with green goddess dressing to a spicy Banh Mi chicken salad, to a refreshing shaved fennel and citrus medley. CARVING STATION Rock star mains carved to order — herb-roasted prime rib, grilled leg of lamb, and slow-roasted Scottish salmon — with all the legendary sauces you’d expect: beef au jus, horseradish cream, mint chimichurri, and dill tzatziki. DETROIT-STYLE PIZZA STATION Because who doesn’t love pizza? Classic Margherita, pepperoni, and a springtime asparagus pesto — hot, cheesy, and irresistible.                                                                                   What an excellent experience. Frank, our server, went above and beyond and made our evening wonderful. The entire staff was attentive, and friendly. Our party enjoyed every bite of food suggestions we ordered after Frank went over the options with us. We most definitely recommend a visit to Cavatina. We plan on spending many more afternoons and eveninigs dining at Cavatine. Chef’s kiss!

The tuna salad was great and the presentation was beautiful. We had dairy free pistachio ice cream! The best way to wrap the the night! Will come again!

                                                                                  We went late during the lunch hour on a Monday about 2pm, so, there were little to no people there. We started with a glass of red wine, cider and the spicy onion dip with Togarashi chips. The chips were nice and fresh, but the onion dip didn’t taste like anything. Wouldn’t order that again. The service was kind of delayed in the beginning, but got better. We ordered the vegan burger and the Wagyu burger. Both were good, but the gnats were overwhelming and constantly fanning them away took away from the lunch . One died in my cider, so, left it behind. Overall the ambiance was nice, but in no hurry to go back.
