For a limited number of evenings from June 4th-7th and June 11th-14th, we will be offering an unmatched experience. Each evening we will have one reservation available for a single party of 2 to 4 guests for pre-order only. This reservation will include a set menu crafted specifically for this event and wine pairings to complement each aspect of the meal. You and your guest will have our wine director and chef take you through each aspect of this experience, bringing you on a journey you will not forget. - Unfortunately, no dietary restrictions or accommodations. Also, please note this event is at our chef's table by the wine room, it is a counter height table.

We participated in the “Elegance at Elevation”tasting menu. Nine courses with a paired wine flight, plus a couple of additional surprises. It was one of the best meals we have ever experienced. What makes this experience so special is not only the fantastic food and wine, but also the impeccable service from start to finish. We have long considered Sweet Basil to be the top restaurant in the valley (and well beyond), but with Elegance at Elevation they knock it out of the park.

Hi Dylan, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It’s clear that we fell short, and we regret missing the opportunity to make things right during your visit. We’d truly appreciate the chance to hear more from you and see how we might make amends. Regarding American Express, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, ongoing technical issues with our point-of-sale system have caused repeated failures in processing Amex transactions. Despite our efforts, this issue has persisted for the past three weeks, and our provider, NCR, has yet to resolve it. We hope this is only temporary and appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime.

Megan was fabulous. Made excellent recommendations and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was excellent from the Gnocchi appt to the the Beef Tenderloin and finally the Lemon and Fennel dessert. Will return when we visit Vail again!!

Always a wonderful dining experience. Attentive staff, and enjoyable atmosphere. Food was excellent across the board. Our guests were impressed with the variety and depth of the menu. Any dietary change requests to dishes were accommodated. Appetizer dishes were small so difficult to share without ordering multiples. Entree portions are substantial enough to share . Overall, excellent restaurant and I’ll continue to return whenever in Vail.

Sweet Basil is a restaurant my family and I have been going to for over 20 years! The Spring 2025 menu is amazing! We loved: tuna crudo, octopus, yellowtail, whipped feta, caesar, halibut & beef filet. Cocktails like perfect margarita and carajillo are amazing, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the cocktail menu! We tried the crab bucatini… it was delish but pretty heavy compared to other entrees.

I just love the new additions to the menu, absolutely fantastic! We had an amazing waiter, and the food is better than ever!! A must go to for when you’re in Vail!

Amazing first time here! We have been to Mt. Standard many times with kids, but never were able to try Sweet Basil. We had a beautiful on the patio! The host staff was so friendly and our server was so attentive! The food was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back!
