I felt like I was in Nobu in Vegas. Such charm. They food was top notch. Beautiful and romantic setting. Very exclusive feeling. Highly recommend.

They let the dress class go down and let the drunks in with ripped jeans wearing football jerseys. They’ve done so well having a classy atmosphere over the years but need to work at it to keep it up and not slip

Unfortunately our service was very slow. This is not the first time I’ve been to UMI where it took forever to get drinks and food, or even our server’s attention in general.

We were welcomed and seated immediately. Our server gave a Happy Birthday to the person who was celebrating a birthday. I went to the bathroom and couldn’t see myself because the lighting was very dim. The dining room also had very dim lighting. I couldn’t even read the menu without assistance from my phone light. I noticed others (younger than me) also struggling to see the menu. Then the lights dimmed even more at 6:30 PM. We ordered sushi appetizers and both were delicious. Our server kept our table picked up. Water was refilled a couple times. Our entrees were delicious, but very small portions. I literally only had 6 bites of food on my plate. I don’t mind spending the money, but it would have been worth it if I had a little more to eat. The dinner plate was smaller than a 5x7 photo. Overall, the food and service were exceptional, but again, I would have appreciated an appropriate amount of food for the money or if it would’ve included a small side accompaniment (like a vegetable or side salad).

I really enjoyed my meal at UMI. We booked a reservation at opening time which is 5pm. The staff was very attentive. We had Caleb as our server and he gave great recommendations. We chose to sit on the patio which is enclosed but really nice with the weather. We ordered the spicy tuna crispy rice, hamachi jalapeño, black miso cod and the avocado salad. Our favorite was the avocado salad which is really simple but good. We also ordered 2 drinks, one with cucumber, gin and sake and the other had tequila and lime. The cucumber one was very refreshing and my personal favorite. We would definitely return and will recommend it to others.

Amazing dinner! Nigiris were 10/10, our server was very attentive and sweet. Definetely coming back!!
