We loved going to Beer Belly before attending a concert at The Wiltern! Definitely not a light meal...so don't try coming here if you're on a diet!

Good food and beer. A little loud for conversation, but we had a nice time.

I tried the pork belly chips, the cucumber-mango salad, the Q-Dilla, and the snickerdoodle. The salad was fresh and had bursts of tanginess. The pork belly chips were so-so, a bit too dry/chewy for my tastes. The Q-Dilla was maybe the best quesadilla I've had--hints of smokiness, good balance of cheese and meat, and the pickled onions and jalapeños with the salsa created a delicious riot of flavors. I was not a hug fan of the snickerdoodle, but I was stuffed at that point, too. It was okay. I tried the Nose Candy and Hammertime beers. The Nose Candy was my preferred--as it promised, great smell and taste. The Hammertime was a so-so double IPA.

Went here on a Friday night, I suggest doing reservations to be on the safe side. Food came out in a timely manner and the Happy Hour menu has good selection. Definitely get the duck fat fries and the grilled cheese.

This past Saturday, my husband and I had tickets to see a concert, Brandi Carlile at The Wiltern. We wanted to grab dinner beforehand so did a little research and came across this place as we wanted something that was not Korean BBQ, sushi or any other Asian cuisine. This place had great reviews on Yelp and after looking at the menu, we were intrigued and decided to make a reservation. I highly recommend making a reservation as we had one for 5:30 - when we got there it was pretty busy for a Saturday that early in the evening and even while we were waiting for our table, the wait for a table of 4 before 6 PM was at least 30 minutes without one. The beer selection was awesome - loved that they had a sour beer on tap. I would categorize the food as unique pub food. We had the feta & fennel salad (which was a nice light way to start the meal - raspberry vinaigrette was superb), the 4 cheese mac & cheese (absolutely delicious - comes out in a little cast-iron skillet, piping out and loved that the top was slightly charred) and the duck French dip (the pickled shallots made this sandwich). And our server was absolutely amazing! As soon as our beers were getting low, he came by right away to ask us if we wanted another round and he was knowledgeable when it came to the beers and the food. I would definitely come back here again anytime I am in K-Town!
