Katy and Curtis help with the selection of our food items and the food preparation was excellent. We enjoyed the oysters, tuna with avocado, white asparagus, the squab and the campanelle pasta. we finished with the apple tart. Service was attentive throughout the dinner and the Manhattan with Whistlepig was also very good.

Special price-fixe Thurs night dinner ...pretty darn good!! One dish tastier than the next. A very full meal. Optional wine-pairing. Worth the cost.
The food was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We appreciate that they moved us from the front to rear of the restaurant. We really enjoyed the one-on-one with chef Walter Madzke. The recommended wine was excellent.
Hi! I am a forever favorite local of republique! Unfortunately I have to report that our experience on Tuesday night was unsatisfactory. The food was amazing as always, but we weren’t seated until 9pm for our 8:15 reservation and our food didn’t arrive at the table until almost 10:30pm. For the price of this cuisine that is unacceptable to me. The service was slow and nothing was offered to compensate for the tardiness on your end.
I hate to report a less than perfect dining experience with you all as you are one of my favorites. But I felt it would be helpful to hear from someone who frequents your establishment. I will still be back as I believe in giving all restaurants a grace period coming out of the year we’ve all just experienced- and I am thankful to be able to dine out again.

Portions were very small. Like VERY small, and I'm not a newbie from the midwest you needs a 32 oz. steak. But it was a modest meet portion with a garnish, at best of the side dish.
We've been before the pandemic, and it was special. This was sadly forgettable.

Wonderful experience! The staff was great, especially our server, Danna. The kitchen really excelled. Lots of attention to detail, with an interesting and satisfying menu. This is still one of our favorite restaurants. We’ll be back soon!
our server Alicia treated us horribly from the start. the five of us had never been to this restaurant before but heard good things so i made this reservation to see my parents for the first time in 18 months and had a terrible experience. we were sat outside, not explained any of the dishes and were spoken to condescendingly by Alicia if any questions were asked. she seemed to be nicer to all the tables around us so I'm not sure why she would immediately dislike us, perhaps racism? we had the sole which I'm not sure why was $75 because it did not taste extraordinary but was de-boned tableside. the dishes were not memorable and the service left us feeling like we were a nuisance although we weren't being difficult or asking for anything. i waited so long to try this restaurant and chose a very special occasion. it was very disappointing.
One of the best foody expectances even. 10 stars if I could.
Great tasting menu and sone pairing
We had their Thursday evening tasting menu and it was some of the best food we have ever had. Each dish was crafted incredibly well and the service and timing of each dish was impeccable.
I went solo while on a work trip on a friends recommendation. République did not disappoint! Everything I ordered was wonderfully cooked and the service staff was friendly and attentive!

Strawberry tiramisu is amazing
Spectacular meal! Started with the butter and amazingly crusty french bread. Loved the complementary potato leek soup! The red salad of beets, blood orange, endive and whipped goat cheese was refreshing. The lobster campanelle pasta with meyer lemon and calabrian chile sauce was next level. The sole meuniere was an experience unto itself! It is fileted tableside and brown butter is poured on top. Omg to die for. We ended with the most perfect fresh blueberry yuzu creme panna cotta with blueberry sauce. I wanted to lick every plate clean.
Creative meal, especially vegetable related dishes, and oh years we loved chips & dip with champagne.
It was my boyfriends birthday and the waitress Katy treated us very well. We had a great glass of Bordeaux and the chips and dip, bread, agnolotti, and beef short rib. We topped it off with a happy birthday strawberry tiramisu which was incredible. Thanks for the great dining experience!

Wonderful food and service, as always. We made a 6:15 Wednesday reservation inside, which allowed our waiter to have more time to share his opinions about menu items. The usual buzz from the bar was missing, so things felt less hip, but more relaxed. Felt like I was saying good riddance to the Coronavirus.

First time dining out since the pandemic; Republique did NOT disappoint. Every dish was better than the last - I highly recommend the bread + butter + Pan Dripping (it's ridiculously good)

First time visiting Republique to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The service, both by the waiter and staff, was excellent. They brought a new set of silverware and dishes with every course and were constantly filling up our water cups. The food was very well prepared, tasty and perfectly cooked. They did their best with the outdoor seating trying to make it as private as possible. We would definitely go back!

Food was delicious, the bluefin tuna tartare was our favorite, along with their lobster pasta and duck. Their cocktail menu is a little limited, but the Meyer lemon was good. They have an extensive wine list. Service was great, I was sat under the tarp that they were trying to fix on a windy day and the staff was sweet enough to move me to a different table.
The food and the service was great. The wine list was a bit limited and mostly French. It was outrageously expensive.
