Romney Restaurants

Prices are way too high, the service was sub par and they weren’t busy at all. We had reservations, and still had to wait for several minutes before seating and they JUST OPENED!!! Apparently they cater to the “membership” before customers that aren’t! Too bad…

Usually one of my favorite places to go but the food was off at my last visits. The Brussels sprout appetizer was not cooked all the way through and lacked flavor. My Caesar salad had brown lettuce all throughout. Not the best experience but I will go again because of my many other positive experiences

We had a very odd experience. We showed up early to have a drink at the bar before dinner and we were turned away. This didn’t bother me much except the woman who we talked to was not friendly about it. When we returned at the time we had booked for our reservation, we were told that because it was Sunday, the only food available was as part of an ongoing wine dinner. Unfortunately, one person in our party doesn’t drink. I will say that our waitress was wonderful and those of us who drink did enjoy the wine. However, the food was uninspired. The first course was a bowl of white rice with two dime-sized (if that) pieces of meat on top. The second course was noodles with pork and vegetables. The third course was what can best be described as soupy tapioca pudding. Nothing tasted horrible, but everything was white, bland, and boring.

The food was awesome !!! Our waitress was great … I believe her name was Alisha … I know I probably have that wrong … :(. We sat outside on the lake … just perfect !!! We will be back !!

We frequent the Guesthouse for dinner. Every dinner has been great! However, tonight’s dinner was exceptional. Fresh ahi seared with sesame covering and spices was cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef!
