We had a lovely dinner for my son's 25th birthday. The food was lovely, great size servings and good value for money. Our booking was for 6pm so we were also treated to an amazing sunset! We will be back.

We dined at The Birdcage for Father’s Day. I had wanted to book for breakfast but there were no available tables until 11.15. This turned out to be a blessing because we could then choose from either the All Day Breakfast or Lunch menus. We brought a child along and his review was ‘This is the best chicken I’ve ever had.’ He’d ordered the kids chicken schnitzel. I’m a loyal Ricotta Pankcakes customer but this time went with a Mezze Plate which was amazing but could have been better with a little tzatziki. You can’t have everything. It was a little noisy but that’s to be expected on a day like Father’s Day. The presentation of the meals and the drinks is what keeps you coming back. That and the addition of Butter Boy cookies which I bought four of to take home. Snickerdoodle with Biscoff. Yum. Not a fan of the 10% surcharge. Not a fan at all. This was not a nice welcome sign when we arrived and unfortunately took a lot of our initial Father’s Day conversation topic on arrival. 10% is bit of a hike but what do you do once you’re there and you’ve had to coordinate 8 people to get there. Great local club it was quiet which was lovely maybe because it was a weeknight but no hordes to have to scream over to hear a conversation. The food was great for the price and the service was wonderful.

The staff we're outstanding last night, we were in the private room up at the willow. Good service always smiling. Thank you.
