The Staff of Artisan is five out of five stars. Our server Johanna knew the menu inside and out and provided guidance on a menu that is not too ambitious, but wonderful. We had two different fishes and each was prepared perfectly. Service is appropriate but not on top of you. Artisan is expensive but worth it. The view of the Bay is great and the silverware was not overlooked when they planned this restaurant. A favorite pet peeve is the cheap Gordon's silverware that so many places use. Finally, the cold salad plates are the extra touch that makes an outstanding restaurant. Thank you.

Our sales team had a fabulous networking dinner with our customers there. It's the 2nd time we have booked at Aerie & both times they have had a lovely experience overall. This time we booked a regular table v.s a private room last year and we loved the stunning & bright views from the windows.

We enjoyed our time at this restaurant. The staff took excellent care of us and made accommodations for our dietary restrictions. The food was amazing and the dessert, the flourless chocolate torte was exceptional!

We decided to give this place a try while we were visiting Northern Michigan. We tend to dine out a lot at higher end restaurants so we normally have high expectations of the places we go to. This place did not disappoint at all. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was exceptional. The wagyu ravioli was delicious, both of our steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well, and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had. The outside patio with a view of boats and the lake just added to this great experience. Finally, I cannot thank our amazing server enough. Dan was swift, prompt, and very attentive to any question of need that we had during our time dining here. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a fantastic meal with a beautiful ambiance but also won’t have a problem with spending over $250 for two people.

Discover Northern Michigan

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is a heavily forested region rich in game. This area features plenty of outdoor activities and a short but produce-rich summer season. Multiple wineries dot Northern Michigan, offering tastings and dining options paired with the intense and fruity wines made from short-season grapes. Freshwater fish, both cooked and smoked, are abundant and prepared to perfection. Fans of craft beer will enjoy both the beverages and the views of the surrounding lakes in the gorgeous country north of Lake Michigan. If the chill is hard to shake, you can warm things up in Marquette with a Cajun dinner. Be sure to save room for dessert. The Upper Peninsula is rich with wild berries, and you can't leave without trying some pie!
