Our server, Tim, was professional, efficient, and provided excellent customer service. The manager, Holly, greeted us personally at our table creating a welcoming environment and adding to our positive experience.
I am glad the Red Fish Grill is back open and wish them the best. Frank was my server and is impeccable. Although the entire waitstaff is well prepared Frank is in a class by himself. So knowledgeable on all of the preparations. As usual the Blackened Redfish is flaky, moist and ohh so good.
Food was so good! Service was great. Lovely place.
Excellent food and service! This was our first visit to Red Fish Grill and it is now at the top of our list for dinner. We had a party of 4 with appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everyone loved everything we ordered. Our server, Kevin, was excellent as well.
Awesome food and great service. The ambience is really nice.
Our sever was fantastic. The food was delicious. We will be back the next time we are in New Orleans.
We enjoyed my wife’s birthday very much. We miss not getting to eat out at Redfish Grill for so long.
Food was excellent as always. Service impeccable. We always enjoy eating here when we’re in New Orleans. Hope they get back to full swing soon.
Food was amazing!! Signature Red Fish dish is outstanding!
Excellent blackened redfish. The creamy corn they serve with it is amazing. The chocolate bread pudding is worth every penny. Be sure and order it when you order your entrée because it takes a while to make.
They are consistently exceptional. Their signature is just as good as it was 16 years ago.
The chocolate bread pudding was absolutely delicious.
The absolute best service
Always a good meal, and excellent service with Ike the server. Highest recommendations.
What can I say other than Ike Jackson is the man!
We had the best lunch with a couple first timers to RFG, and it was their first day open since closing due to Covid.
It was like they hadn’t skipped a beat. Warm (masked) faces all around, safe and healthy practices were obvious, and the food was delicious.
Ready for a dozen more BBQ Oysters already.
Great job y’all!
I've been to Red Fish Grill many times and it's always a treat. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, and the service is extremely friendly. It's one of my go-to restaurants.
Food is good but overpriced. Acme is more authentic and better.
Sad that the menu has changed from my last visit.
One of the Brennan group restaurants that serves the same quality of meal as Brennan's, but at a more reasonable price.
The restaurant, when full, is vibrant (rea that as loud) but not so loud you can't carry on a normal conversation.
We Had gumbo and Alligator Boudin for appetizers. Both were as good as we've had anywhere.
Wood Grilled Redfish & Louisiana Lump Crabmeat with tasso ham & roasted mushroom Pontalba potatoes, lemon butter sauce and Pan-Fried Louisiana Blue Crab Cake with grilled portobello mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, andouille cream sauce for the entrées.
Both were mouth watering.
Would definitely return.
A very busy restaurant with servers that had too many tables. Delicious food, but to add $7.50 to each dessert for "ala mode" seemed ridiculously overpriced when the ice cream was really just basic soft serve.
The food, service and ambiance were great. Our server, Jasmine, was helpful and had good recommendations. Would definitely go back.
An excellent restaurant with wonderful food and outstanding service. I would recommend it to anyone coming to NOLA
Food and service was great! We ate fairly early and it wasn't busy. The only thing I would say that was a negative is the amount of food on the plate.
Overall, pretty mediocre. Very limited menu and dinner type service. I had the "signature dish" which was nothing special and a very small portion. With all the great restaurants in NOLA, I wouldn't go back to this one.
Terrific food, amazing staff & nice music helped my dinner mtg go great!
Great place, amazing food and our server Chris was perfect. Would recommend anything on the menu, especially the dessert.
The bbq oysters are amazing. We are repeat customers and always come here every trip for these! Had catfish and shrimp po boys, yummy! Waiter was awesome but I can’t remember his name now, older African American man.
Some of the best food in NOLA. The BBQ oysters are spectacular.
I have been coming to Red Fish since 1998 and it has been consistently great - from the melt in your mouth hot bread to the addicting BBQ FRIED OYSTERS and alligator gumbo I love this place.
A fantastic, flavorful, friendly, and delicious experience!
Really good food, service was ok.
Was highly disappointed in the dining experience and the food. This place is very very loud. Was anniversary dinner for us. We could not even have a conversation. We did get gumbo which was mediocre at best. My wife got shrimp and grits and I got Red fish with crabmeat. Came over peas and rice which were frozen peas. No great taste. We did order creme brûlée for desert. It actually was a vanilla pudding in a mini pie crust. They did put sugar on top and brûlée’d it. Very disappointed. We did eat at Emeril’s the day before which was outstanding and over the top. Would never go back to this place.
We have eaten at a number of Brennan restaurants in the past. Red Fish Grill is another that measures up to the Brennan reputation.
Excellent Creole/Cajun seafood. BBQ Oyeters are great. Wood Grilled Gulf Fish was Amberjack and excellent. Desserts superfluousafter that meal, but very good.
I had the blackened catfish and it was extremely delicious. The peacemaker (1/2 buffalo shrimp 1/2 buffalo oysters) was to die for.
The other person with me asked for his fish done without any sauce or crab on top and it came out with... sauce and crab, so it got sent back and he waited while I had my dinner. Not the best of dinner. Otherwise fine.
Excellent food and our server (Ike) made the dining a true experience!! Have a real New Orleans flare. Fried oysters were amazing....definitely order a full dozen, you will not be disappointed.
I got the blackened catfish but with reddish instead - it was AMAZING
