    We spent the day catching speckled trout and dropped off some of our catch to be prepared that night for dinner. We arrived and was greeted by the chef who asked how we wanted the filets prepared and what sides we would want to accompany our entrée. 20 minutes later our food was brought to the table and shortly after that, the chef checked on us and asked about our thoughts on the meal. We told him everything was delicious as we ate everything that he prepared. A must experience when in the French Quarter!

    Waiter was 5 star! Food was supposed to be gluten-free but I had a serious gluten reaction! Food tasted good but not anything special to justify the cost. The environment was fantastic.

    High quality food and service. My server Lyn is awesome! The chef's special soup was crawfish, corn, and bacon. It was so good! The fried oyster po-boy was huge, and the French bread just right. The Creole potato salad was well seasoned and good. I couldn't finish the huge strawberry and toasted coconut sundae. The soft-serve ice cream is top- notch.

    Fantastic food and service. We sat at the bar and Nick and the other bartender were fabulous. Great recommendations and the best Meunière sauce We have ever had. Wish we had taken some home with us. We ate at 11:00 A.M., so it was quiet and we could enjoy our conversation. Not sure if that would be different later in the day. Highly recommend it and will definitely eat there again.

    Small portions, flavorless food the service was slow and I had to send back my order. Probably worst gumbo I’ve had, and my catfish dish was gone in 3 bites. Paying $100 For this not ok. The best thing I had was the bbq oysters

    The food was absolutely amazing. We loved everything! We had the brunch deal and got alligator gumbo, the fresh beet salad, crawfish enchiladas and the grilled swordfish. We ended with the double chocolate bread pudding a La mode. It was really delicious and the presentation and service were amazing. The tables were a little close together and it was a bit loud when we arrived because it was busy, but we really enjoyed it. Don’t be deceived by the soft ice cream- it was divine!

    We had a great time at Red Fish. Went there for brunch-food and service were great. Corey our waiter was fantastic and made sure we were looked after. When I’m NOLA next will definitely return!!

    Our server was terrific! Crab cake was especially good. The grilled redfish with crabmeat was outstanding. Can’t figure out what was in the sauce but it was perfectly balanced with the fish and crab. Highly recommend!!! Passion fruit crème brûlée was yummy.

    I had been there earlier in the day for a food tour and was impressed so I brought others for dinner. We all enjoyed our food. Gumbo is delicious, alligator boudin balls, steak, fish and dessert all were very good!

    We selected Red Fish Grill based on featuring seafood. It is located on Bourbon Street just a short distance from Canal Street. I wanted a light meal and was pleased with the Crab Finger Meunière. Crispy Crab Fingers with a tangy sauce and tasty biscuits. My husband had the Shrimp Creole that was very good. Our waitress was conscientious and attentive. She had a great smile. Overall good dining experience.

    Food was cold, sent it back and it seemed like they put the same same on the grill and burnt the outside, it very their signature dish, very poorly done in my opinion. The service was poor due to short staffing issues. Gumbo was very average, I get much better creole/ seafood food in DFW area hands down. NO is trending done for food and generally the downtown area is a dump now. You pass numerous drug attics and drug dealers walking to this restaurant.

    We were able to get in on our second try. The first time we tried they said that the kitchen was backed up and that orders were taking 1 hour to deliver. I got a reservation for an early time slot (6 PM) to avoid the crowds. There was no wait when we arrived at our scheduled reservation time. We had a nice table in a corner. Our server Ronald was friendly and efficient. We were surprised at how quickly our meal came out. We had the Wood Grilled Redfish and Crab which was delicious. For dessert, we had the Passionfruit Creme Brulee. As the night went on the volume level kept going up. It is not a quiet place to eat.

    The service was excellent! I ordered the bbq shrimp appetizer it was ok, not on the same level as Red Stone. Red Stone is waaaaaaay better. I also had the soup of the day broccoli w crawfish, omg it was terrible I had to send it back! I will not go back! It’s a NO FOR ME!

    Stopped in for dinner with my wife. We ended up sharing a crab cake and red fish special with a couple glasses of red wine. Our server Ciera had no concerns and provided exceptional service. The food was excellent. The crab cake was ALL crab with seemingly no binder. The red fish was cook perfectly and was nicely spiced.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Red Fish Grill! As a local, it always seemed a little bit like a tourist trap, but when a few of our friends recommended it, we rolled the dice and decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! We went for brunch and enjoyed almost everything (the lemon ricotta pancakes were not our favorite, but the boudin balls, crab claws, gumbo, crawfish enchiladas, classic breakfast, cochon de lait and eggs and fried shrimp poboy were all fantastic), the staff was great, and the restaurant was open, clean and airy. Highly recommend, especially when brunch reservations can be hard to come by. Thanks, RFG!
