Range Restaurant and Bar
Range Restaurant and Bar is proud to showcase the Bounty of Oregon - from our many partner farms, ranches, orchards, creameries and wineries. Our menus emphasize this long-term commitment to the seasonal, organic, sustainable practices of farmers throughout Central Oregon and the state. Rather than a specific cuisine, we are passionate about creating a living, breathing menu that focuses on seasonality, and preparing dishes that bring out the local, true flavors from the weekly bounty.
We hope you enjoy - the gathering, the moments, the views and the ingredients we prepare - all made possible thanks to our farmers and you. Thank you.

All fresh foods, well prepared and served appropriately. A bit hectic environment because a wedding party was being held just outside the doors. The attendees for that event continued to come through the restaurant to access the bathrooms. Beautiful sunset views. Service was top notch. Really liked the beet salad and the steak portion was huge.
Fantastic food and wine list. Ate there twice in 4 days. Scallop dish incredibly delicious and prime rib.
This restaurant was good, not great but good. The sunset view and the fire-pit make the visit worth it. The food is mediocre. As long as you go into this expecting food that is just OK then you should have a great time. We ordered the prime rib special and 2 of their pasta dishes. Seasoning would have helped.
Disappointing dinner on our anniversary. Screaming kids, food & drinks were average. Slow service, but pleasant server. Overpriced for what it is. Lovely sunset view.
Lovely evening. Quiet table outside watching the sunset with visiting family. It was loud inside so outside was perfect. Service was outstanding. We requested outside and there was a mixup when we got there but they were accommodating and set a table outside right way.
We had a very nice view table that we requested and good service. Major problem is if you are not staying there it does not play out well as a very large influx of dining parties overwhelms the place. Food is good but not great. We live in Bend so a long way to drive (50 minutes) for a dinner.
Very poor value for money. We had expected a "destination restaurant", but in fact found one that was nearly empty and seemed mainly to depend on Brasada guests and its nice view. Instead of being seated in the pretty main room, we were consigned to the garage-like extension. Considering the $56 ribeye rather expensive, we opted for $38 hangar steaks, which were almost impossible to slice through or chew. The bill for 9, of whom 3 were children, was $408 (plus tip). I would never return to this restaurant.
Incredible restaurant for date night. Romantic views and farm to table fresh.
Great view. Menu lacking options. Appetizers, options for kids. a few regular menu items. Salami, Pork Terrine (taste close to spam) a roasted veggie for appetizers. Pork chop, Rib eye, or salmon. That's pretty much the menu. $65 a piece for "Chefs choice". Which consist of sampling of everything. We got that for 2, $130. I easily could have finished it all myself. Food wasn't bad but everything was fairly cold at the table, and nothing was worth telling anyone about.
All in all, a bottle of average Pinot Gris, 3 cocktails and 2 Chefs choices got us feeling satisfied. But at the tune of $230, probably will stick to the restaurants we know better, that do 1-3 items well, and that have more options.
Fabulous birthday dinner for my husband. The chef made a delicious fresh strawberry cake for him too!
So much fun!
We were staying at Bresada Ranch and decided to try their new restaurant one night instead of driving into Bend for dinner. It was wonderful and we had an amazing view of the Cascade Mountains!
The setting is the best thing about Range. Of our four entrees only the brick oven chicken was good. Overall we were disappointed with this farm to table restaurant and don't recommend it. On a positive note, the service was friendly.
The Range Restaurant at Brasada Ranch was a very good find. The view from the dining room is unbelievable. You can see the entire Cascade mountain range from Mt. Bachelor to Mt. Jefferson. The menu is small, but very interesting. To start the Lemon Drop martini was one of the best I have had, and the Beet Salad was very interesting with baby beets, melon, cucumbers with sour cream underneath and topped with hazelnuts. They have three pasta dishes which looked so interesting, but alas, they do not have gluten free pasta. The King salmon was excellent with fresh peas and asparagus, in a wonderful citrus sauce. For desert, the sorbet is house made and was excellent. I highly recommend the restaurant, and it is definitely worth the drive from Bend.
Outstanding food. Amazing views and a very friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
Our neighbor told us about this place. We were heading out for a weekend in Bend, anyhow an amazing place with first class service as well as food. Then there are the view, it you can get outside seating then do. Amazing cannot describe it accurately enough
Airy, welcoming and with a spectacular view (wildfires permitting). The cuisine was good, the service excellent and we are sure the view of the Cascades is spectacular from both the restaurant and the patio although we couldn't see anything due to the smoke from the many wildfires on OR.
We live in Bend, but this was our first dining experience at Brasada, where we went with friends visiting from out of town.
I found this to be one of those "what's not to like" dining experiences. Food, drinks, and service were all excellent. Even though we could not see the mountains due to smoke from various fires in Central Oregon, sitting out on the patio was a wonderful experience.
This is a family friendly place, so you may or may not have active (boisterous) kids around. This was the case for us, but just for a short while and it in no way diminished our enjoyment of the evening.
We had dinner at Range after a day of golf and could not have been happier. Daniel our waiter was outstanding, the views are second to none and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again and again.
Had a wonderful and romantic evening. Best seat is the patio! We had a gorgeous sunset and wonderful food! Definitely will be back!
You can beat the views and the staff are always friendly. This restaurant is only open in summer months
Went to Range to celebrate a birthday while staying at Brasada. This is their fine dining restaurant option. The dining room and bar are very open with a spectacular view out to the Cascades. The food was fresh and well prepared. The service could have been more professional (forgetting to bring serving utensils until asked, not bring a second bottle of wine until asked again, staff involved in personal conversations that could easily be overheard,) and I must admit that our experience was lessened by an annoying tv perched over the bar. I understand this in many places with bars and maybe for lunch diners (the restaurant is only open for dinner) but for us the ambiance and dining experience was definitely hampered. Actually no one was watching it except the staff.... who should have been paying to the diners.
We had heard good things about Range and while overall good certainly did not fall into the great category.
Great experience as always. Chef is quite knowledgeable about GF options since we two of my sons have celiac disease. Everybody tries their best to please their guests and they always deliver.
We had a five star dinner and the GM Jeff was very accommodating. The servers were helpful and fun. The fiery sky in the background was awesome. We love it there
The view is lovely. However, we left as the service was unbearably poor and portion sizes clearly stingy.
Wait staff talking way too loud while we were eating and wine list leaves a lot to be desired. View is fantastic. This could be the best in Central Oregon with a few modifications and wait staff training.
The food was very tasty and presented well. We would recommend the restaurant. Our waiter was average as I don't really feel like he was listening or helpful, even if he was smiling and friendly which is why service was only a 4 star. The extra wait staff seemed more helpful.
