About
We moved out of Louisiana several years ago and Zea's is one of the restaurants we miss the most. Was in Baton Rouge for the weekend and had to put in on the list for a visit. The food is wonderful and the wait staff is attentive and friendly. Another fabulous meal at Zea!
The open table reservation does not work, luckily we went early & they were not crowded!
Nice diner with a good support of restaurant team.
Dominick was an awesome waiter! He was attentive, knowledgeable and provided great customer service.
Unfortunately our server had failed to put in our order until I inquired if a supervisor who passed by our table. So we waited an inordinately long time for our dinners. We were comped partially but in the end did enjoy our meals. I’ve never experienced anything like this at Zea before.
Great food and service
Never had a bad experience. The food and service was excellent
The Thai i ribs were delicious! I can’t wait to go back.
Service was great. Our food arrived in timely manner
Birthday dinner. Great rotisserie steak and chicken
I love the food especially the corn grits. The customer service is superb.
Great food.
Not only were the ribs fantastic, but the side of red beans and rice were great! But, we felt rushed.
Great lunch place!
The food is good, but the drink menu looks too corporate.... and they taste cheaply made. I felt like I was at chili’s bar& grill.
Although the food menu looks good, it’s time for some new items... the menu is getting pretty stale...
Our server was really nice and attentive.
Great food, great service!! We will definitely be back!
Loved the food and we had a great waiter. Will defibirtgo back!!
The atmosphere was very nice, our waitress was very courteous.
The food was wonderful, as always
Great experience and a great atmosphere. Food was amazing as always.
Love the corn grits and Thai ribs! The service was a little slow but it was Saturday night. She corrected order when it did not come out exactly as ordered, so that was really nice. The food has always been good, tasty and cooked well.
Slow service, took 15 minutes to get a drink ordered. Food was good.
Zea’s has been a favorite of my family and I for a long time. This service was a bit slow but it was ok. Our server was nice. We were disappointed in the dessert we got. It was the Carmel brownie. It was cold instead of warm and tasted stale. I could only have 2 bites. Then when I asked for a water because I mean I just got a dessert and had no drink. I got a water after asking a few times. Best part my water had pieces of cardboard in it.
It was just time to leave. We will come back but hope that things get worked on. We look forward to visiting the new location on Juban crossing.
I decided to bring my wife here because, she has never been and she really enjoyed it. Will be back.
Had a friend from out of town come to visit. Wanted something different so I suggested Zea. They fell in love with the food. Going to make one of their number one stops on their next visit.
July 23, 2018. Went to the Baton Rouge location on the first night of Restaurant Week. Our waiter Chris did a great job, but the kitchen staff did not. The wait time for our food arrival was clearly out of our waiters hands. Chris handled the situation to the best of his ability. Kitchen staff was not prepared for number of patrons. Food arrived at table luck warm. I will not be going back any time soon. As a local, there are better restaurants in Baton Rouge.
Went to Zea at 6pm for Anniversary dinner. In two minutes after sitting down at table. The electricity went out. About 10 minutes later we left Zea. It was not good visit at all!
Our waiter, Dominic, was truly outstanding. He made our experience especially pleasant with his service and personality. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and Dominic was a big part of this evening a good time. The food was good too.
Great food and great atmosphere
Our regular go to place. Consistently great food. Different preparation, no the same old thing! Love it!!
Our server was excellent. Our appetizers were excellent and my entree was very tasty. The only drawback was the thickness of the fish, it was way too thin.
Went there for Father's Day had a great experience
The food was great and our waiter was super helpful.
This is the best restaurant in Baton Rouge! The customer service was superb!!!
On a Sunday night when neither my husband nor I felt like cooking, we headed out to Zea’s for a casual dinner. Our restaurant choice was limited by the fact that I am in Phase Two of the Ideal Protein diet program. I checked the menu online and figured out that I could stay on the protocol by asking to eliminate a few of the salad toppings ( cheese, croutons, balsamic dressing), bringing a packet of my own salad dressing, and asking to have my chicken and sides prepared “Z-lightful”. My husband was able to order his favorite Thai ribs and enjoy everything and I was able to stay on protocol and enjoy our evening out. Our server was friendly and helpful. The only glitch that occurred was that our entrees and salad came out at the same time rather than salad first and then the entree. We ended up eating the entrees first, while they were hot and eating our salads afterward. Not a big deal. This order is normal in Italy but not customary in Baton Rouge. The restaurant was busy but the noise level was acceptable.
The food was awesome. Even out then year old son was raving about his meal. Husband says we will be going back there!
We honestly were expecting a decent meal and were instead blown away.
Lamb sirloin was the best...
Great healthy options if desired but plenty of indulgent options as well.
Quick and easy
The pasta that my husband order really look like it could’ve been from the lunch menu. The amount wasn’t worth the price. Other than that, everything was great.
