    We took part in the Silver Oak wine dinner, and what a terrific event! The food was curated to match the wines that were presented from Silver Oak. A representative from Yardbird and Silver Oak greeted us with champagne, told us a little about the restaurant, and the Silver Oak winery. Then the Chefs proceeded to wow us with a five course meal that hit on all cylinders. A very creative play on oyster with an edible shell, Hamachi Crudo, Sea Scallop, boar and oxtail pasta, short rib + lobster, and a decadent salted chocolate tart for dessert paired with an individual smoked whiskey cocktail. The Yardbird team hit it out of the park with Chef led explanations for each dish. Service was very attentive, and alterations were made for people with dietary restrictions/allergies. The Silver Oak representative (and the wine) was the star of the show. It was apparent the Chefs worked closely with the Silver Oak/Timeless, Twomey, and Prince Hill wines to match food that paired perfectly with the aforementioned wines. Champagne with the oyster dish, and the whiskey cocktail with dessert matched wonderfully with all of the flavors. My Wife and I learned a lot about the Silver Oak label, and we look forward to visiting them on our next trip to wine country. This was also our first time dining at Yardbird, and we will definitely be back to explore their menu in it's entirety. 6 our of 5 Stars!!! Highly Recommend!

    The courses were very good but when it came to the hot dishes they served on room temperature dishes and had been sitting for awhile since being plated. The pasta dish and short rib came out a room temperature. Unbelievable that the chefs couldn't figure that out!!!!!!!!!!!

    I’ve been a big fan of this place since it opened— eating there fairly consistently . Tonight was like eating at a completely different place! Some of the recipes were definitely changed— most noticeably the shrimp and grits, and the St. Louis ribs. Nicknamed the “smoke show,” but where the heck was the smoke?? One of the best parts was the presentation with the removal of the cloche— I’m dying that was taken away! It was so fun and unique. Also, the new flavor was so different. Almost sickly sweet, and not the unctuous barbecue smokey goodness we come for. My hubby said not to “be that person,” but I feel like feedback is helpful so that’s my 2cents. Those two dishes alone were worth the 60 minute drive in from the ‘burbs (on I-25 mind you) , as well as the hassle of finding street parking. Please consider changing back!

    I was a little disappointed this time around. I waited for almost ten minutes before I was acknowledged for a Reservation that required my Credit card to hold. Portions and Price point are not equal. When I first started coming to Yardbird which literally was the Grand opening,the Portions matched the Price. Now the Portions have decreased significantly yet the Price is still high. Overall the food still tastes amazing but the portion sizes simply fell short literally. I will not be returning. For a $100 meal, taste simply wasn't enough!!!

    We went for Easter Brunch. It seemed like they were understaffed. As we sat waiting for our reservation we noticed several dirty tables the needed bussed so that more diners could be seated. We were seated at our reservation time and then waited several minutes for a server.In fact, the manager, Elizabeth was our server and she was wonderful. She made up for the wait and we completely understood that sometimes you can’t help it when your employees have other priorities and leave you stranded. Our cocktails were great. The food was great! We didn’t wait too long once our order was put in which Elizabeth did immediately. It’s a bit of drive from Parker but well worth it! The fire chicken did not disappoint. The waffles were quite good, too.

    Food and drinks were great! It’s a little pricey but they give you a ton of food! My daughter and I shared the chicken and waffles and brought home leftovers. My husband had the French dip, also a huge portion, and something special. Restaurant is trendy and fun! I would go here again.

    Arrived at 10:15 for Easter brunch crowded, but not unmanageable. Noise level medium. Ordered drinks, very good arrived promptly. Ordered devil eggs, cheese grits and omelette. Service went downhill from there. Waited 20 minutes for devil eggs, another 15 for grits. Asked server, she politely replied kitchen is really understaffed, so sorry. At one hour was done waiting. If you are understaffed this badly, take fewer reservations and have a bar for waiting customers, instead of dining room seating. This was a quantity instead of quality.
