Our server Marquis was just the best — attentive, polite , and served us quickly snd accurately - he was so pleasant and even with a face mask , his smile pleased all of us !
We had a most enjoyable experience tonight. The food really was outstanding..,unique flavors, lovely presentation, and delicious! Our server was so bubbly and fun! It is obvious that she loves her job. She was attentive, but not overly; responsive and friendly. Even though there were more guests than we anticipated, the restaurant personnel handled the social distancing well. Overall, an excellent experience tonight!
Service and atmosphere was great. Food was very good as well. Was treating my wife for Mother's day and YaYas didn't disappoint.
The place is beautiful.. but we waiting for around one hour just for the food.. and 35 minutes for dessert..
OK, This is the worst experience we've ever had at Ya-Ya's. We were seated promptly - Great. We were given a table away from the restrooms and servers station as requested. Great. Our server was attentive. Very Good. The warm bread to go with the BABAGanoush. Great. The BABAGanoush itself, way, way, way, below par. It was pretty much a tasteless concoction of liquified eggplant and olive oil. It had no flavor - a major league POOR. My wife really enjoyed her cauliflower steak and will try to learn how to make it at home. GREAT. My Five Meat Pizza - below average in quality. The crust was very soggy and limp. It was, instead of being crisp, very chewy. Had I not ordered it before and know its usual quality, and had to base this experience on a decision to order this menu item, I Definitely Would NOT. I consider the wine prices exorbitant but it was a special occasion so no problem - A glass of Pinot Noir @ $15 for the price of the entire bottle, I know that a usual 30% markup is standard, but this was over the top - Not Good. Now, here's the last negative - I ordered a glass of Club Soda - I no longer consume alcohol - and the price was $3.50 - TERRIBLE. Really? Let's get a grip here PBJ, do you really want to turn customers away with gouges like this? Not Good. Fix This or your designated drivers won't be comfortable at YaYa's.
We reserved a table for Mother’s Day. The website said Sunday brunch menu was served 10-2 and there was also a buffet option with a build your own eggs Benedict bar and carving station with prime rib and ham. We got there at 1:15. Our table was ready. I wanted eggs Benedict and bottomless mimosas off the brunch menu. I was told I could not order off the brunch menu as they made the decision to only serve buffet with no other options. I don’t do buffets. I asked if there was eggs Benedict on the buffet. The manager said no. As it was Mother’s Day we could not go anywhere else as all restaurants were sold out. We did the buffet. There was no hot food at all. Everything was cold. There were 30 people literally on top of each other grabbing for food and bumping into each other with a country attempting to come out of a pandemic. I literally had a little salad, a tasteless cold brick hard salmon cake, and a few cold roasted potatoes. I have never in my 15 years if visiting this restaurant been more disappointed and it was Mother’s Day. The manager knew how upset I was and did not charge us for the buffet thankfully as I have never paid 35 dollars for a small salad and a few bites of cold food. It changed my opinion of this restaurant and I probably won’t return.
Lovely restaurant for relaxed dining with quality food and service with nice ambiance.
Mothers day brunch was veery busy, yet handled to perfection! My compliments.
I was pleasantly surprised. I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting much. Mothers day brunch was awesome! My wife and kids loved it too! Service was off the charts good. Sad I haven't been here sooner.
Ya Ya's is one of the best restaurants in KC!! Stellar food, atmosphere and employees! We go there as often as possible and it never gets old! The food is consistently incredible and we take our friends and family there too!
I enjoyed their sea bass entree along with 2 others that I dined with last night. It was incredible; can’t wait to go back and have it again. I will definitely tell my friends about this fabulous dish.
It was an amazing experience! The Chicken Gnocchi (minus the walnuts for me) was exceptionally delicious! I probably gained 5 lbs from eating the warm bread and butter/yogurt dip! My friend and I also shared a shrimp dish as well as the brownie with 2 scoops of ice cream! It was a beautiful warm day on the patio! I felt like I was somewhere other than OPKS!
Anyone who will listen I tell them about YaYa's. It was my first time there...but definitely won't be my last!
Their Happy Hour is EVERYDAY 3-6pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meeting family we hadn’t seen for some time
Service was great 😊
The tiger shrimp turned out to be four very small shrimp with lots of pasta. Week end is noisy
Every table was full, no social distancing whatsoever.
It was windy and chilly and there were tables on the patio we could have been sat at but we were put in the grassy area. The server was awesome and tried to keep the outdoor heaters lit but it was a challenge. The food was great so it was all worth it!
Amazing food and service. Now my Mom's favorite place.
Molly did a great job as our server. Good Happy Hour experience,
Our server just began working there. He was appropriately attentive & super-sweet. I believe he will make a great addition to your staff.
Love the bread service!
The food, like always, was delicious!
4 of us out 6 had the Halibut special, it was really delicious!
Food was OUTSTANDING!
Food was fine but it was really noisy. Had a 7:00 reservation but waited a good 20 minutes for a table, but they were very communicative with why the delay.
Pretty crowded & noisy
The entrees were very good. We had Chilean Seabass and Butternut Squash Ravioli. Both were outstanding. The service was also very good. It is loud and I would not recommend the calamari appetizer. I would and have recommended Ya Ya's based on the dinner entrees and service.
Our server, Bailey, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive, nice and a pleasure. The food was delicious. We had never been before, but will be adding this to our list going forward. Thanks for being wonderful as I celebrated another year around the sun.
Excellent as usual
Romantic , nice service and intertwining
Mr. Bailey our waiter was fantastic. Second time we have had the pleasure of his experience and attention in taking care of my wife's food allergies.
It’s been several years since I have visited Ya Yas! It didn’t disappoint! While the location is out of the way for me, it is worth the inconvenience! Food, service & ambiance! It has it all!
Excellent brunch, as always! The food, service and atmosphere were perfect for a family brunch!
Ya Yas never disappoints. The service and food was excellent as always.
Easter Lunch was great, and the bottomless mimosas were excellent too!
At first we were disappointed that the Easter brunch wasn't truly a "brunch." But there were so many great menu choices, and the chef was very accommodating to meet the needs of the children in our group. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we especially appreciated the plate of mouth-watering sweets that arrived at our table after we ordered.
We attended Easter brunch at Yai Yai's and were saddened by the memory of the remnant of a fabulous past. We arrived at 10;00 a.m. and our server was good, but the supporting wait staff was busy talking to one another. We received our single cup of coffee and little pot of cream. Next came my cinamon roll that was the size of a half dollar and tasted like ti came for a 12 pack of Little Debbie snacks packs. My husband's was worse and he got a muffin and it was the size of a quarter. Our meals were good, but the serving size was lost on the serving plate. Not to mention, no bread, toast, english muffins, just the breakfast meal. The price was alright for breakfast, but next time we may as well go to I-Hop.
YaYas is a favorite. Always delicious food and great service. We enjoyed dining there this weekend. You can reserve outside seating (some with domes).
Wonderful experience--food and service. We will be back.
JT was super attentive and personable. Menu was amazing. Loved our wine and cocktails As well as the delicious menu. Will be back ASAP!
