Our service was excellent. So attentive and friendly! And the food, as usual, was amazing. Cocktails were strong, just how I like them :)
We made our reservation on open table so that we could ensure an outdoor spot on a beautiful day in Overland Park. The service, food, and atmosphere was perfect. They even treated us to a celebratory dessert for our 20 year anniversary. Well-done!
We went for Brunch. The buffet had a large variety of items including Prime Rib and Shrimp. We sampled several dishes and the Bloody Mary’s. The service was excellent however the food was simply average. The quality and taste of the food did not warrant the price of the Brunch Buffet. Even though we will go back to YaYa’s it will not be for Brunch.
Good diverse menu. Everyone in our party of six was pleased with their choice. The seasonal cocktail menu was also fun!
Excellant meal. Great service. I great place to go to.
We enjoyed our meal at Ya Yas, we missed eating out the last year and it was a welcome change to eat out and enjoy a wonderful meal with excellent service. I'd like to do a call out to our server Court, he was absolutely one of the best servers we ever had. He was knowledgable of the menu and drink selections, he recommended one of the best wines we've had, and he was very friendly.
Thank you Ya Yas for a great evening experience.
My wife and I dine at your restaurant about once a month. Celebrating, Birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, weddings and etc.
I have always wonder why a celebration of any of the about a desert or something is given at no charge, it never happens at YAYAA's?
Last night's Happy Hour well drinks are usually $3.00, but last night when we arrived at 4 PM, I ordered a scotch on ice two of them, one at 415 and the second one at 445, and the bill showed the price to be $6.00, per drink?
The food, appetizer and main courses were very good as always and the dessert we took it home, was very good.
Just wondering why the cost changed and never a treat for celebrating at your restaurant?
We had not been to Ya Yas in quite some time. Food was not as good as I remember it. Our server, Walter, was amazing but the overall experience didn’t quite hit the mark for us. Not sure we would go back?
Great atmosphere, food, and service. Patio is one of the best!
Menu offers a wide variety of meals that will satisfy everyone. Despite the heavy demands on the restaurant staff service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Meals were delicious and presentation was impeccable.
Everyone in our party of four enjoyed our experience at Ya Ya’s.
Took a friend who was a first-timer and she loved the food, music, ambiance and service. Server Ish went out of her way to help.
We are always pleased with the experience at Yia Yia's. Tonight was no exception made only more enjoyable by the service provided by Bailey! We will definitely be back.
The service was inattentive. The food came out wrong. The trout skins weren’t crisp, the lamb chops were badly butchered and came out well before the feta frites. We won’t be back.
Service was prompt and food was hot,
Nice variety of entrees and super sides.
Food was excellent, including the bread with baba ghanoush, which was much appreciated. Service was very attentive.
Less expensive than I anticipated for an upscale-type restaurant.
Always a great meal with new as well as classic choices. The Baba Ghanoush is the best I have ever had!! Also the special cocktails are the best. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and gave good suggestions.
Service in many restaurants is suffering due to staffing post covid.
One of our favorite places. Their patio seating is amazing, and their food quality is consistent.
Haven't been to Ya Ya's for over a year. Didnt disappoint. Wonderful as before. Food was outstanding. Very attentive service. Got all the substitutions perfect for a group.
Cant wait to return!
Excellent waitress! Totally enjoyed dinner, drink, and seeing Atlantic Express!
We loved all of our selections. Steak was tender and cooked to order and the Pasta was outstanding! Top that off with Atlantic Express concert outside...that equals HEAVEN!
Great service and being out on the patio was even better!
Always great food, and always great service.
We were not told that only the buffet was available until we sat down. There seemed to be good variety. The food was really cold. The eggs were powdered with water running from them all over people's plates. Not appetizing at all. I would not return. Ever. The waiter was nice and after I asked he did get them to make me a real egg, which they over cooked. But it was a real egg. It he price was reasonable for a Sunday afternoon buffet but not for bad food.
Always good food at a reasonable price and friendly staff😊
Dined on the patio on a cool evening, great experience!
I had not been to Yaya’s in over 20 years, but this was the best meal I’ve ever had from the restaurant. We had scallops and they were divine along with a nice salad and the service was impeccable and our waiter Mark was superb
Great food but a bit loud for conversation at the table
Great experience and the food was amazing. The sea bass was very good.
The front desk was very disorganized. They were seating people who didn't have a reservation prior to those of us who did. The waiter was excellent and the food good. Perhaps they are training new hostesses, but they need to present a better front of the house experience
We finally got to try Ya Yas! I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, but we only recently began to truly appreciate the culinary delights of the Mediterranean table. The food was so delicious. We ordered the Bruschetta appetizer and it was the best Bruschetta we've ever had. The roasted garlic goat cheese that comes with it...oh my goodness. I had the Ruby Mule and it was delicious and seemed to have a high alcohol content (I only needed one!). They brought the Baba Ganoush next. I'd never had Baby Ganoush before, but it is now my new favorite appetizer dish. I'm growing eggplants in my garden this year and can't wait to try to make some Baba Ganoush myself. Our entrees were the Trout Almondine and the Seared Duck, both delicious. We each brought half our entrees home and got to enjoy the leftovers, as well. The service was excellent and their patio is large, pleasant, and lovely. We will be going back frequently!
Came late & were treated like we were there early. Always nice where you’re married to a surgeon with an unpredictable schedule
We went to celebrate the start of my company and we’re not disappointed! Everything was fabulous.
Mark was great! Took care of every request
Wonderful service but food was less than desirable. Not a great value. Similar to a Cheesecake Factory or Olive Garden.
Always a great place!!
The menu said brunch was by order off menu, but only brunch buffet was available. The buffet was good, but I wanted to order off the menu and that was not an option.
The food was not prepared correctly, and it took a long time to get someone to return to our table to correct the problem. We had to ask several times to get bread, drink refills, and the server kept bringing out the wrong food. The waiter was not attentive at all, and the manager never came to the table to apologize.
As is my usual experience with Ya Yas, we had to wait about 30 mins past our reservation time at 6:30 to be seated. We weren’t the only party that had to wait, but it is always frustrating to have a reservation and then wait for for that long to be seated.
Normally, the food would make up for the wait, but on this occasion, it did not. First, we all had salads, which took a very long time for them to arrive at our table. Once they arrived they were very tasty, but before we could finish them our main course arrived. Two of us had the 7 oz Salmon and which was under cooked. One had the sea bass and it was over cooked.
A final note was the wine choice, we selected a specific Pinot noir because of the vintage, but naturally the vintage they had was different. Not a significant issue, but on this night it just seemed like piling on...
In defense of the restaurant, they were really packed and people seemed to be lingering longer then normal after eating. As a result of the allowance for full capacity, maybe the staff wasn’t fully prepared for the large Friday night crowd or maybe people were just thrilled to be able to dine out with minimal restrictions. Either way, I hope Ya Yas someday figures out the reservation issue so people don’t have to wait so long to be seated.
It was okay... calamari was chewy, special of the day okay. Chocolate cake for two was AMAZING.
