Led by Chef Erasmo Casiano, the restaurant's name, Xiquita, is a playful twist on "chiquita," a term of endearment for Casiano's mother, and a nod to the indigenous languages of Mexico.

We had a wonderful experience eating at Xiquita. The food was amazing - unique, flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. Our server was excellent. She did a great job of explaining each dish and helped with ordering. Her friendliness, knowledge and rapport made our dining experience a joyful one.

We love Xiquita! New flavors, absolutely wonderful Mexican food and the chefs and staff are amazing! Go. Just go and experience it for yourself because you will love yourself for it!

Excellent food…we had the carrots, the salsas, the ribeye tacos, and the águas fresca and they were all delicious. Our server was great as well!

We visited Xiquita Restaurante y Bar for date night this past Friday, and we’re still talking about it days later. The ambience is absolutely perfect—warm, inviting, and beautifully curated. From the lush greenery and plants that frame the space to the striking mural that anchors the room, every detail feels intentional and deeply rooted in culture and care. The overall aesthetic is such a vibe—cozy, vibrant, and effortlessly cool. We began with the Tortita de Papa and the Ensalada Xiquita, and both dishes were out of this world. The tortita, studded with flavorful bits of chorizo, was perfectly crisp and savory—every bite was crave-worthy. The salad was fresh and layered with thoughtful textures and bold flavors. For our main courses, we chose the Huarache and Molote, which were equally stunning—generous, flavorful, and clearly made with love. One of the most memorable parts of the night was getting to meet Erasmo Casiano, one of the owners and a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist (Best Chef: Mountain) for his work at Lucina Eatery & Bar. He stopped by our table throughout the evening to check in and share stories. When he told us about how his mother, for whom both restaurants are named, used to make one of the dishes for him and his siblings when they were kids, the warmth and pride on his face were unmistakable. That memory sparked something tender in my partner, who began reminiscing about their own childhood. It was such a heartfelt, human moment—one that added a layer of richness and connection to an already phenomenal meal. Dining at Xiquita felt like receiving a warm hug through food, atmosphere, and storytelling. This place is truly special—a beautiful space to savor, reflect, and celebrate. We’ll absolutely be back.
