Led by Chef Erasmo Casiano, the restaurant's name, Xiquita, is a playful twist on "chiquita," a term of endearment for Casiano's mother, and a nod to the indigenous languages of Mexico.

At Xiquita, diners can expect to find dishes that are both authentic and innovative. The menu features a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, such as tamales and tortillas, made with locally sourced ingredients. We had a fabulous experience at Xiquita! The service was wonderful the food was amazing! Our cocktails were original and very good. I just can't say enough about how nice it was to have the full package. Everything was perfect!

Really good - I had high expectations bc I love Lucina so much. Had I never been to Lucina I probably would rate this higher. I wish there was more variety (I also think the portions are bigger at Lucina) in food and non- tequila drinks but everything they do have at Xquita is fantastic, beautiful presentation and amazing service!

This was the most creative, unique and gourmet Mexican food I've ever had. Unusual and delicious and beautifully presented dishes I'd either never heard of or were presented in a fresh way. The staff all seemed really happy to be there, the chefs/owners were frequently circulating and engaging with the guests. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. I can't wait to go back

Lovely authentic unique dishes. Highly recommend to those who are foodies. Try the lengua as it's cooked barbacoa style and delicious. You can't tell it's lengua.

Xiquita is an exceptional experience from the creative team behind Lucina and Create Kitchen & Bar. The restaurant interior and atmosphere is gorgeous and is only exceeded by the thoughtful and delicious menu as prepared by the wizard chefs. I could effusively go on and on about how wonderful Xiquita is but you absolutely need to try this neighborhood gem for yourselves.

The drinks were creative and very well-balanced. We picked several of the smaller dishes. The oysters, ceviche, and mushroom appetizers were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Service was also friendly and we felt well-taken care of. We hope to be back soon.

Perhaps the best authentic Mexican cuisine I have had since we ate at Pujol in Mexico City last year. The food was amazing, unique and the service was outstanding. Everyone should experience this.
